PHEW! what a busy day it has been, omg!!

i woke up first thing this morning to the fabric from hopen textiles for my clodsire plushies! i ordered these on the 1st, so <2 weeks during holiday season is VERY impressive!

coming clean.. i ordered these colors at like 4am on one of my insomnia nights. i was having such a hard time choosing the shiny colors for clodsire because there weren't many good pics at that time and everything i saw was taken in the game at night, and he looks totally different in every picture! at the time i went with an aesthetic choice of more light/periwinkle color, because i'm not a huge fan of his shiny colors. but i'm not feeling it as much now as i did at the time, so i think i'm going to switch to making him from joann's pure plush fleece mochi which has some good color options for a darker version. and it'll be a good test for 2 way mochi anyhow! maybe one day i'll make a shiny with a more periwinkle color family.

after that i finished up a design for some peepitto pins! i'm sending these to a new manu to see what they're like. while i was really happy with a new one i've tried, it's always a good idea to have more than 1 as a backup. so i purposely chose a simple design to try them out. these will be a set of 4 dyed enamel pins that are about 1 inch tall!

then i ran a bunch of embroidery files for some cat charms! my bigcartel shop is closing after tomorrow because i'm switching to shopify! my shopify will officially open on jan 1 but i will be giving patrons early access to snatch up these charms if you'd like them! (also, i'll be raising my prices on jan 1 so if you haven't gotten any pins now is a good time to do so!) i want to test out shopify before doing my valentine's day drop in january, so this is a perfect way to do it :) i can't guarantee that anything purchased from my shopify shop will make it in time for christmas, though!

i multi-tasked while they stitched out and took some photos of mint chocolate clodsire and pink sprinkle clodsire! mint chocolate clodsire will be going up for auction later tonight and pink sprinkle clodsire will be going up next week!

i hate how i have to do watermarks for these, but i've already had people steal my photos to post fake item listings so i have to be extra careful now 😤

tomorrow im going back to work on finishing the clodsire pattern! now that i have the fabric i can record footage and take photos for the instructions.

the clodsire pattern will be a reward for people who pledge in january! since i have subscription billing on, you need to have a $5 pledge paid in january to earn it (so, a subscription paid in dec but extending into january doesn't count - you'll need to pay once in january!) the pattern will be distributed to everyone on february 1.
