Chapter Three-Hundred Forty-Nine

I didn’t expect gravity to blow Teemo’s mind like that.  I mean, I know it’s capital F Fundamental, but he’s been taking to a lot of big concepts without much problem.  I take a closer look at his status while he’s respawning, but clues are pretty sparse.  I wonder if there was a bit of a feedback loop between him being my Voice and also my Herald?  Not only did he get gravity affinity, but I got it as a domain.

Error

That’s probably not good.  Unspecified errors are the sort of things that get thrown when you really break a program.  I’d like to not break reality that hard, please.  Or at all, really.  I wasn’t even trying!  I glance at the information I have, but I don’t touch anything else just yet.  I don’t want to make this whole system go bluescreen on me.  Maybe if I don’t touch anything, it’ll sort itself out?

Error

Uh…

Can we talk, like you did with the Shield?

Uh-oh.  I think I’m getting called to the principal’s office.  I briefly consider refusing, but I don’t entertain that thought for long.  Order didn’t sound mad with his popup there, so it’s probably fine.  If he’s worried, I should definitely try to help him.  If I really did screw something up, I should try to help screw it back down, too.

Now, how did I… right, follow the connection with my followers.  I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to even having followers, but it is comforting to be able to feel their trust and faith in me.  Much as I might be tempted to bask in that warmth, I fight the urge and instead slip sideways into that odd void-like place that I was able to talk with the Shield in.

Instead of the Shield, I see a strange shape that feels oddly familiar.  I follow the lines for a few moments before realizing there are too many right angles, and then I make the connection.

“So that’s what a tesseract looks like.”

Somehow, the shape seems to smile, though I can’t see any actual movement from it.  “I see what the Shield meant when it called you a nebula, too.  Hello Thedeim.  I’m Order.”

I feel a bit awkward, despite his friendly tone.  “Uh… sorry about breaking your System.  I didn’t mean to.”

The tesseract turns in an approximation of shaking its head.  “I don’t know if that’s relieving or terrifying.  And it’s not my System.  I just made the interface.”

“You didn’t make it?  But you’re the guy in charge of it, aren’t you?”

Order bobs in the void, making me think he’s smirking at me.  “Do most fighters forge their own swords?”

I take a few moments to chew on that before answering.  “...Fair enough.  But if you didn’t make it, who did?”

His smirk only seems to widen, despite him clearly having no mouth.  “I think you might have a better answer to that than I do.  I’d almost accuse you of making it, if not for the fact you and it behave completely differently.  The System is a perfect working of Order and Law.  And you… well, not to be rude, but you are neither perfect, particularly orderly, nor especially lawful.”

I shrug.  “None taken.  But then why would you think I could make something like that in the first place?”

“Because the energies of it and you are in harmony.  Wherever the System truly came from, you came from the same place.”

I tilt my head in confusion at that.  “That… doesn’t make much sense.  There’s some pale imitations, but I bet that System is way more complex and stable than what I’m thinking about.  And a System like you have here… it doesn’t exist there.”

Order pitches and rotates slowly as he considers that.  “Perhaps it does, but you lack an interface.  The menus, alerts, even quests are all things I added to get feedback from the System.  At first, there was no active feedback for anyone.  People would get stronger, discover new abilities, explore affinities, and more, all through fumbling blindly.  I made the interface to try to make sense of what the System was doing.”

“It’s a black box,” I mutter.  “Input, output, with no hint to why or how.”

Order bobs in a nod.  “Exactly.  I did my fair share of fumbling as well, to learn what was happening, but I was able to start organizing everything, linking cause and effect, and informing the mortals so they could better Order their lives.”

I give an impressed whistle.  “That must have taken a lot of work.”  I wince at myself before continuing.  “Which I kinda… keep breaking…”

Order laughs and nods once more.  “That you do.  But with you exposing weaknesses, I can strengthen it.”  His jovial mood drains as he continues.  “And it makes me worry you’re not the first one to start breaking things, just the one that’s being obvious about it.”

“What do you mean?”

Order sighs, letting himself rotate on four axes as he explains.  “That’s complicated.  As I said, the interface wasn’t always there, but the System was.  I believe you’ve heard the kobold legend of the beginning?”

I nod.  “It started with everything still and unmoving, even the mana, before something disturbed it.  Eventually, the ripples coalesced into the first dungeon.  Then it started playing with the mana, made life, discovered a lot of affinities, made more dungeons…”

“Indeed.  The kobold legends are perhaps the best record of the time.  But did you notice anything about how the first dungeon operated, compared to how you do?”

I slowly nod once more.  “Yeah… the legend didn’t mention spawners at all.  All sorts of stuff getting created, but nothing about spawners.”

“Correct.  I imposed the need for spawners after the Betrayer.”

“Betrayer?” I ask, concerned.  That doesn’t sound like something nice.  In fact, it sounds like the literal reason I can’t have nice things.

“You should ask your High Priestess for the legend.  Suffice to say, a dungeon turned on the others and tried to destroy them.  Not only the other dungeons, it tried to destroy everything.  It took the intervention of all the gods to occupy it while I forged my interface.  Dungeons have a natural, innate understanding of mana, so the only thing I could think of to stop the Betrayer was to attack its ability to freely manipulate it.”

“So you imposed things like spawners, costs to expand territory, and a bunch of balance things… like the signs.  Why restrict communication so much?”

Order chuckles at that.  “You, of all beings, should understand the potency of sharing concepts.  In the proper hands, it leads to prosperity.  In improper hands… it leads to the Betrayer.”

I’d like to argue with him, but it’s difficult to debate the point when he has an apocalypse to point at for his proof.  That doesn’t mean I have to like it, though, so I try to steer us away from philosophy and freedom of information, and back to the reason he wanted to talk to me.  “So how do we fix your System?  Er, interface?”

“I’ve already fixed your specific error.  It was a unique edge case involving you as a god having a new domain, but you as a dungeon not having access to the affinity of that domain.  On top of that, the Voice and Herald titles were interfering with each other.  Both relatively simple fixes.”

Hey, I guessed right.  I smile at my intuition, though it soon fades to confusion.  “If it was a simple fix, why talk to me?”

“I can’t talk to the one who’s pantheon I may someday join?”  He laughs at my reaction to that before continuing.  “I wanted your help with something else.  I’ve finished analyzing the Harbinger.”  Seeing he has my full and undivided attention, he continues.  “Something has managed to sneak through my interface and impose its own twisted Order.  I had thought it fully sealed away, but I can think of no other source than the Betrayer.  Somehow, it managed to sneak through the shackles I’ve placed upon it, letting me think it was still secured while it worked.”  He turns and spins on a corner like a top in frustration.  “Even now, I don’t know how it’s doing it.”

I frown and fold my arms, not liking the sound of the situation.  “You’ve been hacked, but you don’t know how to fix it.  It’s not like the thing is going to give you a bug report on the exploit it’s using.”

Order slows to a stop and gives a relieved nod.  “So you understand.”

I grimace.  “Kinda, but I don’t know how to fix it.”

“Fixing it will be my job.  Your job will be to break it and make sure I know what you did.  A… ‘bug report’, you called it?”

I absently nod as I consider his offer.  Whatever that Betrayer is, it sounds like bad news.  I’ll definitely want to have Teemo ask Aranya about it once he respawns.  For now… I don’t see any reason to refuse to help him.  In fact, if that Betrayer can make Harbingers, I have a pretty good reason to actively help.

“It probably has something to do with that corrupted type it had…”

Order bobs in a nod.  “It does.  Unfortunately, without knowing how it introduced that new type, I can’t figure out a way to restrict it.”

“So you want me to try to make my own new type?”

The tesseract manages to smirk again as I get a popup.

Quest: Create a new type of creature.

Reward: New creature type.

“I’m confident the god of Change can come up with something.”

Comments

Possibly matroscha brain or something even way above that tech. Multiversal system to support and try to help civilization grow, prosper and reach a point where the baby wheels are removed and they can join the rest of those that followed in the footsteps of whomever created the system?

Elmithian

TYFTC! So Order thinks the System came from humans? That could be why the concept of humans are actively edited out. Now it sounds like Order and Thediem will be purple teaming (red team, pen testers + blue team, defenders) to find the weaknesses in the System.

Ben Bass

I would of found it hilarious if the chapter was number 404 due to the errors

Conner Howell

Canonically, humans are not allowed to exist within that world, to the point that even memories get censored. Anything too human just ceases to exist.

Aaron Mcmaster

Nope, it was an affinity he didn't have access to at all previously. Now he has access.

Aaron Mcmaster

Gravity elemental?

Aaron Mcmaster

Humans are super forbidden by the system. Anything too similar immediately gets deleted. If he made them anyway somehow, the whole thing would probably blue screen.

Aaron Mcmaster

Nooo, i thought khenal was staying away from humans. Ive had a lot of thoughts on why there shouldnt be humans in this world, maybe i dove too deep into r/hfy or 40k but humanity seems to introduce either a solid foothold for dark arts or spells the end of magic.

Ayyyy_Korn

YO! That'd be so dope!!!

TechNinjaSigma

The Orcs are a raiding race not a crafting and warring race. Humans always seek the advantage over others. And will create one if needed. Look at our current tech levels. Now imagine giving us access to magic. Look at what theDM is doing with the magic system. And he is doing his best to NOT influence his scions to much. He is happy building his dungeon. Most humans are not happy with their lot in life. Give them access to a leveling system and magic. A system that is easily broken without even trying. That world would be doomed. Not to mention racism. We are just different shades of brown. And look at what we have done to each other. Now imagine actual other races. I easily imagine several human groups trying to wipe out the ratkin and mousekin just because they are related to rats

Matthew Frasier

You have some of the saddest comments I have ever read on the internet, I'm very sorry you have so much pain in your heart, and I hope that someday you can find the strength to heal and love again. My kindest regards to you.

Presten

TFTC!! It's awesome that people actually communicate and ask for help in this story. So dang refreshing.

Ethan Barrow

Watch him create humans

Aerowarrier

I'm so looking forward to seeing what concept you come up with for the new creature!!!! TYFTC!

William Anderson

I love this idea!!

Blue Trooper

Well put friend

Blue Trooper

Cthulhu!!

Michael Phillips

i mean not really? compared to most wildlife we are by far the most empathetic. just because we have tools capable of allowing for horrific things does not mean our use of it by select individuals is by any means outside of the norm for the normal levels of violence and terribleness as seen in nature. every horrible thing you can find in people be it racism, sexual crimes, unwarranted violence for the sake of entertainment, or any other crime, you can find in nature somewhere. did you ever hear of the worlds loneliest whale? he could hear every other whales voices and understand them but because his voice was too unique no other whale was able to understand him. he was treated as you would expect.

architectural engineer

Unfortunately I believe you have missed the point of what I was saying: and that there is no “good” or “bad” traits, all of these aspects are just emotional signals and behaviours that our body gives us to navigate the world. Humans can certainly be envious, conniving, and aggressive, just as they can want for their situation to be better, clever enough to make a plan to improve their lives, and driven enough to make the changes they need. Put simply, in my previous comment, the examples I gave where meant to illustrate the concept that typically negatively associated behaviours are two sides of the same coin of positive behaviours. Humans are selfish, but also selfless. And whilst there are those who make a big show of their kindness to others to elevate their social standing, it’s the every day-today sacrifices people make that display selflessness. We often endure great hardship and give up a lot even when we really don’t want to purely for others happiness and welfare of others, even when we know it won’t benefit us in the slightest. Because often enough the act of doing something for someone else is enough. Moreover, humans certainly don’t thrive off war. Unfortunately, this notion underlies that many people don’t understand why conflict happens. Yes, there are malicious and greedy actors but the majority of it comes to fear; (fear of running out of resources, fear of the other, fear of aggression). Humans are good at war, but to say humans thrive off war is misplaced. We are good at surviving at all costs. Which means when you have two creatures who believe the other is a threat to their survival you get results that are ugly. What makes us thrive is cooperation, when we work together to do things that would be impossible alone, from agriculture to science to art. Because I think what keeps people together is not simply the threat of violence. (Whilst the threat of consequences is certainly is a motivator) most people actually don’t want to harm others. We are social creatures by nature, we strive to live together peacefully and it’s usually only great stress, anxiety, trauma, and fear that causes to resort to our darker elements. Even in our primitive period of the stone age, when we were literally tribalistic and violent to each other in ways modern humans can’t even fathom, we still see evidence of kindness: one was that of a skeleton whom had a grievous injury and left crippled. A man who would have been no help or use to his tribe and yet instead of being left to die we can see from the healing on his bones that he lived to a good age for that period. That means someone had to take care of him, tend to him, for no other reason than empathy. And from that time we have been growing as a species, from that point we grew to expand our tribe to other clans, from communities to countries, we even have begun to expand our tribe to other species. It’s an incredible mistake to assume that our peaceful life is due to the threat of mutual destruction (and if I’m honest I think that theory is why things have begun to unravel today). Because if you look at history through the 70s and 80s you’ll see that we nearly did destroy ourselves on multiple occasions, we were unbelievably close to that dreaded apocalypse. But what pulled us back from the brink wasn’t the threat of nukes. -There were plenty of generals on every continent quite prepared to push the button just to ensure no-one “won”. What kept us alive was that we talked, and communicated, came to agreements. (You may think that’s a naive sentiment but that’s quite literally what happened.) Because whilst weapons of mass destruction will make you think twice about attacking it ultimately means that you resort to hurting each other in other ways. But diplomacy? Institute building? Expanding your definition of your tribe? Thats peace. Because development doesn’t come from war, in fact you have it all backwards; most technologies are developed from the civilian base before being acquired by the military. Whilst the investment of military research often is what allows the development of a technology to reach commercial viability, it’s always based on technology originally made by people audacious enough and bright enough to dare to dream and make something different. Theres a wonderful poem called “The goddess of everything else”. I recommend you having a watch: https://youtu.be/Bbwp4PbWYzw?si=B-ctwq6nSdbBstdo

Markell

You can't go wrong with dinosaurs. Small ones, big ones, it is an entire type that encompasses so many different varieties that it would need dozens of spawners to show them all. Plus they'd be amazing to fight, and who can turn down the chance to run Jurassic Safari?

PickledTink

I'm sorry but it seems you have a romantic view of humanity. 99.9999% of people are not that at all. The only think keeping people in line is the enforcement of laws. If laws were not enforced no one would follow them. Humans are violent, selfish, aggressive, conniving, envious creatures who thrive off of war and death. Killing whatever gets in its way. Almost all of the humans you described are that way for purely self centered reasons, or are forced to pretend they are that way for good PR. All of our amazing and wonderful technologies are war based technologies. The only reason we have pushed it so far is just to keep one uping each other to have the best weapons. Our "peaceful" way of life now with little wars is due to the assurance of mutually assured destruction. Even with that we are constantly fighting. It's called cyber warfare for a reason. Not counting trade wars. Humans thrive off of violence our nature is violent and selfish. We have to make a deliberate effort to be otherwise. And few willingly do that.

Matthew Frasier

Humans are empathetic, gentle, comedic, and compassionate, -perhaps even tragic and life-affirming in equal spades. You can’t be self-sacrificing without being self destructive, it requires the capacity to disregard the self to truly put others before yourself. It takes a certain kind of selfishness to do incredible acts of selfless deeds, it’s the ability to look at tragedy and when the universe says “you can only save one….”, the human race replies; “up yours! I’m saving them both!” It takes a level of pride to look at an ocean and go “yeah I think I can cross it”. Even rage is a virtue when in the sight of injustice as long as it is tempered by mercy and annealed by sincerity. I think Terry pratchets Deatb summed it up when he said: “TO BE MAN IS TO BE THE PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGEL MEETS THE RISING APE”

Markell

Order has no idea what he is in for by giving Thedeim that quest is he? There sheer options alone is massive enough, never mind if he uses a spawner or even a resource nod as a base line.

12Baku34 .

it is a good hint in this chapter. They just don't exist in this world and the system. That is why teemo gets a real headache when TheDM thinks too hard about humans and why he got errors about it. It would also be the most fitting solution for the quest for TheDM to create humans as they are like the least, lesser and harbinger to the system. not existent.

Lord-Siver

my thought exactly. TheDM already had a hunch because there is many humanoid creatures but no humans in the world it seems and now he has the perfect excuse to create humans. He will be the god of humans in this world!

Lord-Siver

Thank you for the meal! It was as delicious as always! And that's how humans came into the world! No really would that not be THE best reason for TheDM to create humans?

Lord-Siver

Or just Human. It seems like humans have the same kind of block that the least had, just visual rather than through the system. It would make sense if the reason for that isn't some grand conspiracy, but just that the System has never seen one before.

Cha0sniper

Wait does this mean that because order granted tedium the gravity affinity all of thediums scions now have it!?

isaac frandsen

Considering Thediem's Christianity, maybe he'll go for celestial to get angel?

Typhoonator

I'm down for that.

Jacob

Oh ok I could have sworn the error order fixed was Themidm having the Domain of gravity but being unable to use it as a dungeon, the reason he got the domain be cant use is because of Temo being both a voice and a herald and there being a feed back loop between the two

Samuel

Kinda just realized that that this encounter with Order might be the best time for Thedium to ask about why can't show himself in his Human form while being a deity inside of his afterlife. Maybe there was a clause in the ancient agreement that was referenced in the peek about Order around the time of the first engagement against the Harbringer.

Kebbitevoke -

Oh one more. Other gods talk about pantheon of gods, with someone leading it. What if DM throws idea not of pantheon but council of gods, there they join to share ideas and knowledge instead of unified leadership. You know- more scholarship and democracy like.

Barzdonas

A lot of focus in comments about what creature, but no comments on how. It is clear that it has to somehow bypass orders system but be allowed in general system. I think it may be something related with evolution, considering hint that system and DM is from same place, then evolution could be allowed but by passed by order, because order may never saw evolution in progress (everything is practically created by dungeons). Now some say that means humans, and I think no- even in Tarls visions (chapter that shows what Tarl see then he touch DMs core) and from other gods human form is hidden (DM is portrays as nebula in humanoid form) I think this hiding is coming from the system it self, not orders part. Now question how to create evolution and connect it with spawner? I think Teemo will have to get time affinity next, so playing with evolution is possible.

Barzdonas

Ok I am seeing to much about humans being to prideful and arrogant and war mongering. I don't think it is problem for this world, as orcs have riding parties and elfs are clearly can be quite arrogant them self's. Humans have deeper problem in this story

Barzdonas

Im honestly hoping for an alien spawner with a scion named Ripley or maybe he takes one of the leach heads and turns it against the betrayer.

Justin Raine

i like the idea of Thedeim crating something like the warforged but less sad I think humans wood be to esey and it wood not do much in the grand scheme of things a new tipe of organic life were as warforegd wood push the definition of creature

can

The enclave version is, weirdly enough, a plucked chicken. Diogenes style.

Pete Magnuson

YES THIS!! The living undead! LIVING VAMPIRES! DAYWALKERS! lol

Zachary Key

Maybe he could create a Fae spawner? Not fairies but the FAE from old myths and legends… or maybe a cryptid spawner that tosses out things like wendigos.

B Oakley

I can see a primate spawner that can’t create a enclave.

B Oakley

I foresee the DM crashing the system in the near future.

B Oakley

And humanity has wiped out other sentient species before: The Neanderthals

B Oakley

That may lead to a living star or a live by blackhole.

B Oakley

Speaking of city planning... would make sence if thous [professions] have ways working around or with Dungeons on this world. Mayde Duke is suspicious of such professional and local Dungeon Affires Officer be conclusion with the [Butler] Also would not land and property right nexst or moving alongside MC Forest of Four Sesons. And would it not be possible for Violet claim lands below leading to MC mansion, to the part where [Rats Varend] spawns point was. And right under local market square as make it easyer to get low levels delvers to her grounds.

mly85lc

Oh.. my Orders is better have one off he's followers to come to Four Harbors, so MC can give him heads up when he's adout pulll the trigger. Let's face it more like be multiple stress test alongside a creating something new creatures. Mayde Mayor would have some work for competent "city-planner" or system backed "drafter of the contracts" on his pay roll.

mly85lc

Seraphims would be interesting to go for. Different holy creatures with wings that the enclave could have a type of flying elf with wings.

Kebbitevoke -

Well MC is major on Consepts. But minor on Followers/belivers that's can affect world for him directly. Though he is Dungeon with expanding power base so that's only temporarily.

mly85lc

The Dodo off Fate, Oracles of doom. Verliciraptor of Garvity, walkers Planes. And Platyspus of Changes, eternally adaptable.

mly85lc

Hmm... now all we need is MC praying on "gods meeting place" and some slightly hostile/wary old timer god pick up one it.. and declare a him a heretics.

mly85lc

You never talk much about Earth, but I think it would have been fun to see TheDM explain to Order why bugs are called bugs where he's from.

Logos

I don't particularly want humans. Now this story is regularly posted in HFY, but like others have commented it kinda leads to more mess. Monkeys I could imagine tho. Monkey kin(looking like sun-wukong) I could imagine, but I doubt that's gonna qualify as "new".

Jacob

Other prehistoric animals(like Titan birds or giant sloths or mammoths or something-the wierder the better)

Jacob

Weird IRL animal(platypus, and the like that don't exist in this world already)

Jacob

So potential creature types to mess with in approximate order of how much I like them: dinosaurs(mess with birds and reptiles-potentially sythemaws), robots(constructs but w/electricity and computers-maybe work with Vanta), griffins/other associated animal mashups(probably already exist in some manner in the world but very cool nonetheless-however not particularly on-brand mixing IRL w/fantasy)

Jacob

Wait, GRAVITY ELEMENTALS

LegioN7

I said griffin's could you imagine the kings men riding griffins happy to supply them to the kings army but you must leave the mayor i know and trust in power and maybe give him a title so we don't have a situation of another noble try impose there will

chris Bell

More like a open beta tester it's out there we know there is a bug recreate the bug

chris Bell

That is an inspirational level of self hatred.

Presten

TheDM became Q&A, poor god

Caue f

It seams logical to think of human sich he was one himself but I agree no Human in this World pls

Magnadra

Why is that so accurate 🤣

Demonlord

Thanks for the amazing chapter 😊 Can't wait to see the new creature Thediem will create. Also it seems like order has a lot to learn from Thediem and his memories of Earth

Demonlord

Our dm could do so many things with this he could make a angle type a demon type a Lovecraft type a nuke type a transformer type so many thing he could make

druidofthewolf

Throwing my hat in for future robotkin

LegioN7

Aw man, now I want the next chapter so much! I know humans would be the obvious choice but it’d be so boring… Dinosaurs would be way cooler. As I’m sure most other fantasy creatures are already there. Or maybe he’ll end up resurrecting some extinct mythical creatures that’d be cool too.

Art Dragon

Or robots if constructs are something different

Justin Raine

Notice: Thedeim has created the Paradox Oroboros Notice: New creature ty ... New crea ... New ... N ... N ............ Error ... Er ... E ........ EMERGENCY REBOOT INITIATED! Order: I'm sorry, Thedeim, I should have been more specific. I wanted you to stir things up a little, not explode a city-sized bomb in a space the size of a breadbox. :-)

jeffh4

Isn't he half way to making something weird with "undead?".

Remus Scryer

Order fixed the issue, so Teemo will be fine. And he'll have a new affinity to play with!

Juno Tubolino

Humans and dinosaurs seem like a go to, but I would love to see Thediem make xenomorphs or other aliens .

Justin Raine

Why is everyone in the comments wanting humans!! No humans!! Humans will ruin the world worse than the betrayer!! The human race is far to prideful and arrogant! One misplaced word against them and It's WAR. All of human history is war and coming up with reasons to go to war. That world does not need that. Also giving humans access to magic! Are you all insane!

Matthew Frasier

No, no we do not far to much pride and arrogance in the human race. Not to mention the war mongering.

Matthew Frasier

I hope not. Humans are just to prideful and arrogant in groups. Also far to much of a war mongering species

Matthew Frasier

Forgemaster and Jacob suggested dinosaurs. I changed my mind i want dinosaurs.

13L00D13ANE

Those dirty C.O.P.s, always ruining our fun

Rick Delallata

I meant currently minor. There is no way he would stay minor if he ends up leading a pantheon.

Vorquel

I don't know.... while he's playing it slow, I would think Change would be as big as Order. And Gravity is literally the fundamental factor holding the universe together... I don't think he's minor. He just hasn't decided the role he could fulfill, needs to be. Or maybe he doesn't see that role yet.

Anthony Felscher

Love the possibility of introducing mythological creatures here. Hes got ALL SORTS of stuff to pull from; sphinxes, dryads, werewolves, wendigos, quilins, kun pengs, etc. Excited to see what Khenal has in store!

13L00D13ANE

I thought that, but realised the angel considered it something of the Creator when she checked up on Thediem in a peek

Carl Gherardi

Dryads! Plant spawner recently upgraded with spatial magic, and considering additional (suspiciously synergistic) resource focus.

Carl Gherardi

Thanks for the chapter! The software qa engineer in me is excited. Time to break the interface!

Herakilla

I can imagine that Thedium might summon an angry angel with a squirt bottle if he tries to make humans.

Kebbitevoke -

Well I think the spotter is obviously going to look like just a house like a generic house. Or a tree baby because monkey. Or maybe yeah isekai circle. I'd be pretty cool but if the other guy is creating like the corruption type then couldn't he just create the purity type and that just be humans which in turn would be monkey

Ashlynn & William Elmore

Oh no. Don't go out here add tell an engineer to TRY and create bugs! What have you done?!

Austin Miller

it is soo cool isnt it!

architectural engineer

Let's be honest do we want humans

chris Bell

i think humans would so make sense but i wonder what the human spawner would look like XD maybe a summoning(isekai) circle

architectural engineer

Or at least primates, advancing to primatekin

Pete Magnuson

no way may those already exist here 100% i think humans are coming!!!

architectural engineer

honestly hope so

architectural engineer

humans are coming!!!!

architectural engineer

Gonna call primates as the new type, unless the human ban is even deeper than we thought

Pete Magnuson

My guess is he makes aliens and calls them starborn or somthing.

Rolletta

Dinosaur is a perfectly valid and magnificent creature type. Please do

Jacob

I wonder if he'll end up making the humans that don't exist in this world.

SnowReason

Offical bug tester!

Durphymcbob

Thedeim is now going to create life from nothing interesting maybe making something cool like unicorns or griffens He has alot on his plate now let's hope he doesn't lose focus on the earl to much

chris Bell

Order is so chill!! I love it. Order, Change, and Protection. Pretty scarry combo. I like. You can call them the C.O.P. pantheon! Lol

Matthew Frasier

“Because the energies of it and you are in harmony.  Wherever the System truly came from, you came from the same place.” Given how all this began I’d wager not the same place as in they both came from Earth, but the same place as they both came from the Creator.

Eofad

lol, do something, reward you did something

Georg Kranz

All I'm going to say is oh no. And I don't know if you're going to do it but this is the moment to add humans. I don't know if you can but if it's ever going to happen it's going to be right now

Ashlynn & William Elmore

BEHOLD!!! THE DODO, VELOCIRAPTOR, AND THE PLATYPUS!!!

ForgeMaster

Thanks! for the chapter I hope Temo is ok, his brain did melt after all from knowage I hope he is not stuck in a loop of respawning rememebing and dieing again

Samuel

Awesome. The earl has no idea the caliber of being he's dealing with. Not only is Thedeim a minor god, but he also consorts with several major gods.

Vorquel
