Turns out, I have a friend that lives near where this was filmed! I had no idea it was a real place. My mind is still reeling from the ending and how unsettling the story was. I wonder how many people developed a bird phobia after seeing this?

This film in particular is one of the more ambiguous and 'up to your own interpretation' Hitchcock films, which makes it one of the most interesting to watch a reaction to. There are several clues sprinkled in throughout the movie but the core mystery is never answered. I think it sets up the whole premise of the bird attacks as more of a metaphor for the characters than a mystery to solve, since we see Melanie Daniels act so impulsively and almost all of her actions in the beginning are driven by instinct over reason, she is like a force of nature herself. Anyway, this was a super fun reaction! Thanks for doing it!
