I've heard the X-Men animated series is great! It's on my list of shows I'd like to watch. I usually try to watch only one Marvel show or movie per week. I'll either take a break from phase 5 to watch it, or just watch it after I catch up with the current MCU content.

I didn't realize they were implying Rodey had been replaced by a Skrull for so long! I agree that Olivia Colman was a true high point of the show!

Glad you watched this! I enjoyed it and can find pleasure in almost anything. I’m looking forward to you watching everything! Say, has anyone tried to get you to watch X-Men the animated series??? The original was pretty good and X-Men ‘97… I was a bit blown away. Maybe that was nostalgia, but I think they did an excellent job. No pun intended.

So there hasn't been many comments on this series Jax and unfortunately I think that is because this is regarded as the MCU hitting rock bottom or at least close to it. Even with your forever optimism and shiny outlook on whatever you watch this was a tough one for me to get through. TLDR:~ All but 1 thing is a negative I am about to talk about The biggest issue with this show is Rodey, in this episode they say he has been there a very long time and he is in a hospital gown and is unable to walk which implies that he was taken around the time of Civil War. By my calculations Civil War was about 1-2 years before the events of Infinity War and therefor about 7 years before Endgame then this show is 2-4 years at least ( Can't remember them saying how Fury was up in Sabre) from Endgame so Rodey has been replaced for around 10 years. So all those interactions with Rodey during Infinity War and Endgame weren't really him, that in itself just doesn't feel right. The fight scene between G'iah and Gravik was to be honest too short, too stupid and completely uninspiring. The only reason I think that blast killed Gravik was because she completely obliterated his heart and that is a stretch even for me to believe. Gravik just turned on his own people way too fast imo came out of nowhere, it doesn't even further the plot, it doesn't even change your opinion of him, you don't like him from the start, you don't like him from the middle and you still don't like him at the end. And now for the positive about this show, Olivia Colman she was the highlight of every scene she was in. Next up I am Groot mini-sodes and Loki Season 2 followed by the next movie The Marvels.
