Added 2025-06-05 20:48:28 +0000 UTCThis was a fantastic start to season 3! I've really been enjoying Rex's character development. I'm a little disappointing there was no mention of Nicolas Cage, but I guess this is a different universe.
The ending was a bit tense. The more I learn about Cecil, the more I realize I don't know about Cecil.

A few things worth mentioning: We've actually seen Multi-Paul before. He was seen being held in the same prison as the Maulers in season 1. You also mentioned that he and Kate could get together since they had similar powers which...yeah. It's also a neat detail that Immortal audibly react when he hears about the Declaration being stolen. With him being Abraham Lincoln it would probably be quite important to him. This is easily one of the best parts of the show coming up. Mark's stubborn black and white morality and immaturity vs Cecil's cold pragmatism and world weariness. It's also really interesting to see the concept of reforming villains being explored. People aren't pure good or evil. Marvel and DC rarely do this in the comics since changing the status quo means risking sales and profit and the MCU seems obsessed with killing off 90 percent of its most interesting villains so it's a breath of fresh air to see this explored. It's also interesting that Mark is so stubbornly against reforming or utilizing Sinclair and Darkwing even though he seems intent on believing that his genocidal dad can change. Which he can, so why not give Cecil the benefit of the doubt?
