Spider-Man: No Way Home (FULL REACTION)

Spider-Man: No Way Home is here!! After powering through all of the previous Spider-Man films, it was so incredible to be able to sit back and watch this wonderful movie.

This movie was jam packed with epic surprises! What a treat this was! I'm so glad that they were able to give so many of the characters the endings they deserved, even if we had to lose people along the way.

I tried to find it on a streaming platform but it was only available to rent. Watched on: Google Play / Runtime 2:28:51

Hope you enjoy!

Spider-Man: No Way Home (FULL REACTION)

" I guess the real question, Is Clint in that tree right there?" Lol ❤️

Michael Norman

Guardians 3 is better

LeSteeler

How did she miss that the bartender in the post credits scene is Dani Rojas??

Chief

Best MCU movie since endgame but i agree with alot of the other comments, the spider verse movies are the best spiderman movies. Jax definitely needs to watch them.

Nik Hasri Raja Ibrahim

The theatrical version.

Jason Johnson

Okay I gotta ask, what version of the movie is she watching? She's at 8:39 and she's already at Matt, and I'm at 9:39 and im still a full scene away.

Lee Aguera

I was saying the same exact thing about how hard it will be for new reaction channels following the MCU will be. Way too many tv shows and now since Deadpool and Wolverine, multiple movies to watch to understand anything.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!! May this be your most amazing year yet! ❤️🐑🎉

Jacqueline

Oh, thank you!!

Jacqueline

I remember Yelena saying that but I didn't realize it was because Cap's shield was being added. That's such a subtle little Easter egg!

Jacqueline

True but ned Leeds was like brainwashed. He was never the true hob goblin Non comic fans love to say “ned Leeds becomes a villain” from like Twitter headline knowledge But if you delve deeper, he was never evil. There’s been like 3-5 hobgoblins and Ned was the least evil and least important one Not to mention this Ned Leads is based of Ganke from the mikes morales books but just named Ned lol

Connor Vide

We don’t know the exact role but zendaya has been officially confirmed to be in Spider-Man 4. But that’s all we know. It could he a small role. Maybe they become friends again while she still doesn’t remember. We’ll see in 2026 when it comes out

Connor Vide

I don't know for certain, but the impression I was left with from what the actors were saying about this movie make me think that we won't be seeing MJ or Ned in the next movie. Specifically, those two actors were talking about how it was such a good end to their character's stories. Personally I'm hoping we get to see a new love interest in the way of Black Cat. She deserves to be in the movies.

Kevin Bartelen

She always could. She just never made the time for it. Same for Ashleigh Burton.

Aldo Gonzales

RIP

Aldo Gonzales

Seriously???

Aldo Gonzales

So what are the "Spider-Verse" movies that are recommended?

Chris VanLoon

Okay, note to self... read reaction comments after watching reaction. Commentary reads much differently.

Chris VanLoon

With these out of the way, you can watch the best Spider-Man movies! Into the Spider-verse, and Across the Spider-verse!

Excuse My Brains

Such an amazing movie, I love it. I loved the marathon a lot, been a while since I have seen them so it was great rewatching them. I really hope you will watch Spiderverse at some point, they are probably my favorite spider-man movies.

samuel Jakob

Fantastic reaction Jax! Loved it!!! This is my FAVORITE post-endgame movie from the MCU. Check out Jackson's thoughts about where each of the vilians came back to in their respective timelines on Discord- it's really good! it's in the spoilers channel but for ONCE I give you permission to peek in there ;-) hahaha He tagged you in that post-

Ned does follow the Hobgoblin to a hideout, since Ned is a journalist for the Daily Bugle during this time looking into the Goblin. This is when he's kidnapped by the Hobgoblin, and everything I mentioned takes place afterward. So you’re correct that he comes across a lair, it’s just the lair of the Hobgoblin, not the Green Goblin. I'm pretty sure Harry Osborn finds his dad’s lair in the comics, like Spider-Man 2 (2004) so maybe you combined these two together!

LittleGalaxyBoy

I remember the stumbling quite well - must have been part of the hypnosis? Either way, I bow to your superior memory or your actually looking it up.

Alex Ch

Some context: Ned Leeds was kidnapped and hypnotized into becoming Hobgoblin by Roderick Kingsley, who was later revealed to be the true Hobgoblin. Kingsley had been blackmailing and hypnotizing others to act as decoys to protect his identity, and Ned was ultimately unmasked as one of these decoys. After this, Ned Leeds became violent toward his wife, Betty, due to the stress of people believing he was the Hobgoblin. He eventually left for Berlin to look into a story, where he was ultimately killed in Spider-Man Versus Wolverine #1 (1987) by the Foreigner's men who were hired by Jason Macendale (Jack O'Lantern), who believed Ned was the Hobgoblin. Both Spider-Man and Wolverine later investigated his murder. So, beyond being used as a decoy, Ned isn’t actually a villain but a victim. During this time, many writers came and went, so in theory, anyone could have been revealed as the “real Hobgoblin,” as multiple characters were unmasked, each writer having their own idea on who was the real Hobgoblin. It's not out of the question that Ned could have been the real Hobgoblin, for the MCU, I hope they take a less expected approach and keep the mystery alive with someone you'd never expert. The '90s Spider-Man: The Animated Series used Jason Macendale, voiced by Mark Hamill, as the Hobgoblin, who even appeared before the Green Goblin in this continuity. Something like this could be really unique. Hobgoblin is a character that can truly be reinvented since almost anyone could be revealed to be him.

LittleGalaxyBoy

Correct, Yelena mentions wanting to go see "the new and improved Statue of Liberty". The start of No Way Home takes place in early to mid November, so the last scene with Spider-Man swinging (which takes place 2 weeks later according to J. Jonah Jameson) would be a month or so before Hawkeye.

Onno Smits

In the comic books, Ned Leeds stumbles upon the lair of the Green Goblin with his glider and explosives. He does in fact become a supervillain and try to kill Peter. Very different character though. Our Ned would never.

Alex Ch

Happy Birthday, have a good one.

LittleGalaxyBoy

Madame Web in that series was also voiced by Joan Boocock Lee, the wife of Stan Lee.

LittleGalaxyBoy

Ok, i have never seen the hooded variation before. Most of my experience is with Spider-Man 2099.

Andrew Polinski

Thanks man! Happy Belated Birthday to you as well!

iameNeRG (Rodney Gant)

Thank you!!

I highly recommend checking out the Spider-Verse films, they are by far the best thing Sony has done with the character, aside from the animated shows. The Spider-Verse films are a true love letter to Spider-Man, and I’m sure you’ll enjoy them. We’re also getting a new Spider-Man cartoon this month called My Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2025). It was originally supposed to be a prequel series showing us the origin of Tom's Spider-Man, but now it’s set in an alternate universe that’s heavily inspired by the MCU. In this universe, instead of Tony Stark mentoring Peter, it’s Norman Osborn stepping into that role during Peter’s freshman year. It’s basically a “What If?” spin on MCU Spider-Man, set in a world that feels similar but with its own twists. It's also home to alot more Spider-Man characters, including allies and enemies, something that's been missing from the MCU.

LittleGalaxyBoy

This movie is amazing, I remember the 90s spiderman cartoon the last 5 or so episodes are the multiverse saga and spiderman has been my favorite ever since. Worth checking out would be a neat for a reaction.

Alvin Baca

Happy birthday 🎂

Alvin Baca

Hey! This got released yesterday for my birthday nice! Happy birthday man!

Armando Castillo

Yelena mentions she wants to see the new and improved statue of liberty

Armando Castillo

Green goblin has had the hood before.

Armando Castillo

The MCU Peter Parker has always stood out from the typical depictions of Peter in that he had a support system to help him, he had Tony Stark making him advanced suits, or he had access to Stark technology. This movie basically got MCU Peter to his typical status quo where he's broke, down on his luck, in a crummy apartment, and has to be very self reliant. The trailers and all that very much showed us who the villains were, so there weren't any surprises there, but Tobey and Garfield being in the movie was. They were not featured at all, and were even erased from certain shots they were in. There were rumors of course and people more or less knew they'd be in it, but it wasn't known for sure until you actually saw the movie. Oh, and the conversation about Tobey Peter's back was a little meta because he really did deal with back issues that stemmed from those movies. I do love that everyone got another chance to play these roles again. Seeing Willem Dafoe have another crack at Goblin was great and he was insanely menacing! I think they handled Electro so much better. For whatever reason, it's never been clearly stated, but the actors who played Lizard and Sandman weren't available to be on set for filming, so that's why they only ever appear as they do in the movie and they had the actors just do voiceovers for their parts.

Ed Scoglio

Yes she mentioned it but not that it had a shield. Just that it was new

The Dingo

Yay! I knew you would love this. Great reaction. The (2/3 existing) Spider-Verse movies are absolutely the next movies you should watch. What you've done recently, with the Spider-Man back catalogue, has readied you perfectly for what are easily two of the top five best Spider-Man movies of all time. You know the characters, you know what it means to be Spider-Man. Losing Uncle Ben/Aunt May: with great power comes great responsibility. There's... more to the story. You really should.

Robin Wise

The fact that they had Netflix's "Mattt Murdock" in the a scene with MCU's Happy Hogan (Also Fox's Daredevil's "Foggy") is extra meta!

Mister Lou

I absolutely loved your reaction (just finished) and of course, Happy New Year, Jax 🎉 Believe it or not, there is a brief appearance in “Spider-man: No Way Home” that connects to a show you are about to start. You’ll know when you reach S01E06 of “Ted Lasso.” Sorry about being cryptic, but no spoilers 😎 (I’ll definitely be watching your reactions to Ted Lasso because I love that show!) (That second credits scene was a preview for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”, which is on Disney+).

David Olden

Jax I am sorry to disappoint you, the codeword thing wouldn't work in this situation, because they would forget the codeword, anything that Peter has ever said or done as himself is forgotten. Yes we are getting a Spider-Man 4, it's in the script writing/pre-production stage right now so nothing is really known about it. Norman's/Green Goblin's look at the end with the hood is more likened to the Hobgoblin than the Green Goblin comics look.

Andrew Polinski

Doctor Strange will be back in... Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

David Bourgeois

Thank you Jax :)

Derder

Does anyone remember if the Statue of Liberty with Cap shield was briefly referenced in Hawkeye? I’m pretty sure Yelena mentioned wanting to see the new Statue of Liberty. That would make sense since it takes place right around the same time as this movie (a little closer to Christmas).

Mike Smith

It's available to stream/buy on Amazon Video.

Senec

What are you talking about? She already has.

Aldo Gonzales

Oh she hasn't seen the other Holland Spider-Man movies? Okay this might be a little tough then. Actually thats kind of like watching Tobey's Spidey 3 movie without watching the first two. Hmmm... this is interesting to think about. Holland was introduced with the movies she's seen (Infinity Saga). However Far from Home was after Endgame. Unfortunately that had some big plot developments going into No Way Home. I haven't watched the reaction yet so going off comment alone for now.

Chris VanLoon

Before anything else, Jax, will you please finally watch the animated Spider-Verse films? You have yet to see why they’re so iconic in their own right. When Flash went to the donut shop, he wasn’t trying to rub in that he got into MIT. He was under the impression that Peter, Ned, and Michelle were all gonna attend. Peter’s first mentor was Iron Man through the events of Civil War. Then Fury kinda filled in that capacity. Now it makes the most sense to have Doctor Strange fill the role of mentor given everything that’s happened not to mention that they’re both heroes of New York. When Peter’s soul was ejected from his body, you could see the Spidey-Sense tingling around him. My favorite funny moments were flying green elf, butt-ass naked, and math cooler than magic. Natalie Gold, Alex Hefner, Ashleigh Burton, and Rana from the Normies would agree that math is not cooler. When I first saw this movie in theaters, I didn’t notice that the three Peters were pointing at each other. I was laughing because they were saying the same thing at the same time. That alone cracks me up very easily. De La Soul’s song The Magic Number has three different meanings tied to this film: 1.) It’s the third MCU Spider-Man entry 2.) MCU Peter teamed up with two variants 3.) Peter, his best friend Ned, and his girlfriend Michelle were a trinity. De La Soul’s entire discography is finally available on all digital platforms. Sadly though, one of their members known as Trugoy the Dove has passed away about two years ago at 54 years old. The purple tears in the sky showed a number of variants of Spider-Man characters. Among them included a version of Kraven the Hunter and a more humanoid Rhino. And finally, the great thing about making it this far into the MCU is that Moon Knight is next.

Aldo Gonzales

Going to enjoy my Saturday morning...thank you.

Steve Mercier

My birthday is in 6 minutes and it's already shaping up to be a good one! Thank you Jax! I hope you're doing well, and I can't wait to watch your reaction! Thank you for such great content!🙏🏾
