From digital sketch to gouache
Added 2022-10-12 19:37:56 +0000 UTCVideo about the creation of gouache 50x50 cm in size. The idea for this piece was a digital sketch that I created in 2020 after arriving from the Carpathians. The work is called "The First Snow in the Carpathians", it may seem strange that the snow fell when the leaves had not yet crumbled, but this happens.
The video consists of a small video of working on a digital sketch and actually working on a painting. Since this time the gouache is quite large, I decided to stretch the paper on the tablet in order to avoid paper deformation.
I want to say that it is very convenient to work with a digital image, since my digital drawing has layers that can be turned off or on for a more accurate definition of color. But it should be noted that it is very difficult to get into the general color with gouache and I did not get it. But still, some textures are difficult to recreate in oil.
P.S. Actually this video had to being uploaded on the end of previous month but I couldn’t do this due to circumstances which was my mistake but then some circumstances appeared which were not my fault, I apologize for that. However thank you all that you are stay on this channel and support me.
