Gilding and texture

From process of this work I will show only the work with the background and textures. Gilding and texture is the name of the video. So for gilding, I took not real gold, as always, but an imitation of the so-called Dutch gold. The fact is that I ran out of gold 23 k and I did not dare to buy a new one. All the same, this is an expensive pleasure and it is not convenient for me to buy gold for a picture while everyone gives the last to win this war. Everything
Everything necessary you can see from the video. I can only speak of my experience with this material. This material is much easier to work with and much more difficult to achieve the desired result. I would say it's not possible. It is impossible to create a solid gold spot without joints. Nevertheless, this material can achieve a good result if you try hard.
I want to say thank you everyone for their support and for being on this channel. By the end of next month I will post a video from the new piece, but before that there will be a post with a set of gouache works and maybe a few works with gold.
