As Wanda's battle with Agatha comes to a conclusion, she has to make some terribly sad decisions. The fate of the entire town rests on her shoulders. She's such a complex character and has sacrificed so much. However, I can't shake the feeling that something is changing with her character...that second end credit scene was a bit shocking!!!

Hey, MCU nerd here. Couple things I would like to say. Jac Schaeffer created a three-part series. WandaVision, Agatha All Along and VisionQuest. Also, Dr. Strange was inserting those commercials into the shows in order to snap Wanda out of her delusion that she had created. The Yo Magic commercial was to get Wanda to see that she was not allowing anyone to eat. Finally, hope you eventually watch Agatha All Along because it was great!

Also, I forgot Wanda released the Hulk on people! You are right that the avengers are all complex and have done a lot of good but also a lot of bad. Also, I am psyched for Agatha's show!!!

Agatha's motives were not good ones. She wanted to steal Wanda's power to do terrible things. Her pointing out Wanda's faults, was not out of some form of altruism, it was to make Wanda feel vulnerable so it would be easier to steal her powers.

Is it too much to hope Sparky wasn't real? Agatha conjuring him or turning a fly into a puppy or something to test Wanda? I guess they would have told us that.

2023-12-28 02:07:54 +0000 UTCThe ambition of Agatha Harkness - Agatha was lying to her mother and pretended "I can be good!" But her own mother knew... "No, you cannot..." Agatha killed the entire coven of witches - but she must've known what she was doing, meaning she had used her powers before and who knows what manner of evil deeds she had already done prior to the sentencing by the coven. They tried to "execute Agatha for her crimes(?)" But actually it was a trap because Agatha steals powers. Her mother had a crown too. Agatha killed her and took her power. She planned to kill Wanda and take her power (and her crown, the crown signify great power I assume.) I wouldn't trust Agatha with her 'purple' power and the 'blue' power that she stole and wouldn't trust her with the 'red' power from Wanda. Had Agatha been successful in stealing the scarlet power she would become for sure a mega-super villain - she claimed that power is greater than the Sorcerer Supreme. With this we get a glimpse into the ambition of Agatha. This was a ploy to steal the greatest of powers. We must all stand together against such villainy! Do not be misled for she is cunning!

For example she controlled Ralph Bohner in a ploy to manipulate Wanda - I believe the term is "gaslighting." Agatha was manipulating the whole situation. She manipulated the situation to coerce Wanda into continuing the sitcom reality. Agatha explained that "it was all her all along." She misled everyone into thinking it was Wanda... but it was Agatha all along.

I will always look toward her from a distance and nod my head in approval... for the trip down nostalgic lane... in sitcoms. Regarding the town - I think they voiced their feelings when they surrounded Wanda. Wanda in reflex accidentally started choking them but stopped herself. Then she wanted to release them - but Agatha was still manipulating the situation. For me, Wanda's apology was when she started disintegrating the "hex" and then she told everyone "now run!" At that time she was trying to save everyone.

The events in NY caused Tony to have doubts and fears - Wanda's mind attack preys on the fears already inside Tony. Tony envisioned a "suit of armor around the world." Unfortunately it got corrupted and became Ultron. Where did Ultron come from? Are all three from the mind stone? Ultron, Vision and Wanda?

Other than that I don't think she has killed anyone. She accidentally tortured a whole town here which is unfortunate. Jax don't forget you have to watch WHAT IF... at some point. That is more on the fun side... much less controversial 🙂

From what this show told us, Wanda did not know she was creating the hex, it's as if it happened automatically or subconsciously. Was she truly responsible? It's almost more like a force of nature rather than her actions. She was in denial of what she was doing and I believe her when she said she thought the people were at peace, as soon as she realized what the people were going through she let them go, while that's the least she could have done it's not like it was easy, her kids and Vision were real in the hex and she had to let them go, just more loss and just like the first time she killed Vision she once again was forced to give up her loved ones for the greater good. When it comes to Agatha, honestly she actually tried to do more good than bad, she was Wanda's antagonist but I don't think I can call her an actual villain in this. Sure wanting the power can be seen as selfish, but taking it away from the person destined to destroy the world seems justified. The main problem is that she had the Darkhold, that book corrupts anyone who reads it and if she had that book for like 600 years then no matter what she thinks or feels, her actions would have been manipulated and corrupted by that book.

Then your apology will be sincere and can be heard. Otherwise, it's just hollow words to those you've hurt. As for Agatha, what happened when Wanda released the Hex? Is she still stuck there, or was she released too? For me Wanda is a villain. What she did to Westview was horrible. Understandable? Maybe. I think when she created Vision, all thought of what she may have been doing became justifiable to her. She knew it was wrong though. Any time she was confronted with it she countered with angry denial. Yes she has suffered a lot of loss throughout her life, but so do a lot of people. You hope she can come back. But without Vision and now without her kids, can she? Great reaction for the series! Falcon & The Winter Soldier wasn't my favorite, but it's still a good watch.

People always side with Wanda, but I agree that she was never held to account or even apologised to the people she hurt. And even Agatha was clearly maddened by the Darkhold! But every story needs a villain... and Agatha was clearly most malicious

She is basically a god, and has no control over her powers. The fact she did in the end sacrifice her heaven to free the town. Agnes is over 600 years old and a very powerful witch, no way could she be put on trial for her murders and evil. Wonda also cannot be controlled, but at least she realised at the end what she was doing was wrong and stopped. Remember she kept saying the people including the children were safe, she didn't know they were having her nightmares and feeling her grief, she justified it to herself by convincing herself she wasnt harming them. She gave up the love of her life and her children, thats the bug difference between her and agnes, and what monica understood.

2023-12-26 07:18:33 +0000 UTCso it's a bummer that wanda didn't apologize to everyone at the end of the show, yes, but when has ANY avenger apologized for the lives they unintentionally ended or caused harm to? i thought it was interesting you (and some others) showed so much emotion towards her lack of what could be considered empathy to the town or her apology to her victims, when not a single avenger has ever stayed after the destruction and said 'oops, i'm sorry i dropped a house or a rock or an alien corpse on your head' but no one ever seems to have as big an issue with that as they do with this. this really all came to head in civil war, which i think is interesting you mentioned that. while tony has done his share in funding aid groups to help with the aftermath, again he's seemingly the only one who has contributed to clean up efforts, a lot of people still sided with steve when it came to signing the accords. tony was brought to the realization that they need to keep themselves in check when the poor mother approached him about her son dying during ultron's attack. but still so many people wanted the avengers to be 'free to make their own decisions'. and here is an avenger who is grieving, unaware of her actual abilities, unintentionally trapping and torturing others in her nightmare of loss, who still in the end chooses to lose everything she's ever had in order to free her victims, and people still get on her about not saying sorry....like, i get it, she needs to apologize because what she did was horrific and sad, but let's hold everyone to the same standard please. tony released a murder bot on to the world and afterwards went on to create barf and receive applause from students at a university. vision paralyzed roadie. bucky, as of now, has assassinated countless people, murdered innocent shield agents who were trying to protect cap, and then disappeared in wakanda to live out his life peacefully and in comfort, without a single apology. black widow? well, we know enough about her past to know her ledger is dripping with red, right? i don't think there is a single hero here who doesn't have a history of violence and blood on their hands. but god forbid wanda not apologize.... sorry if this turned in to a bit (ton) of a rant. i love wanda. i love all the avengers (though cap is a bit too preachy at times), and i love nothing more than a great villain for them to go up against. i love that this seems to be the direction wanda is going so defending her may seem like a moot point, but i just had to point out the double standard. not a single avenger has really stopped and said they were sorry to all their victims. also, taking these people hostage is not the worst thing wanda has done. let's not forget she unleashed the hulk on an entire city. she really had a whole villain arc in ultron. lol. but i think everyone was more interested i her and pietro turning to the good side to really go back and think about what either of them have actually done. i also think it's important to point out that wanda controlling agatha is probably the best way to keep people protected from her. she's an entirely too powerful witch, the only other one we know of besides wanda, who can absorb other people's powers. there's no way for mere mortals to arrest her safely and keep her in prison, even the one underwater from civil war. also agatha is literally a murderer. i don't really pity her predicament. i can't wait for her show tho. i don't know if it'll be about her past or her future, i just want more of her. lol. i don't know if you have seen the xmen films yet, but they say that the only being more powerful than wanda is phoenix. i'm very interested in what you would have to say to that. the older xmen films have their moments, but i think the newer ones are better story wise. anywho, rant over! looking forward to the falcon and winter soldier reactions! i enjoyed the show a lot. bucky and sam's reactions are always fun to watch <3

2023-12-26 07:04:31 +0000 UTChe's literally a villain. he took visions body and for years made it his mission to go against visions wishes and turn him in to a weapon they could use themselves. literally a villain's agenda. until last episode, it could've been an argument that he really was just trying to help the people inside and that he was just an asshole, but seeing his true agenda and seeing him try to keep such a weapon under his control throws that 'he's just a dick trying to do what's right' out the window.

There hasn’t been an official announcement regarding the release date, the existence of rumors and speculations surrounding the series suggests that there is ongoing interest and potential plans for its production. Additionally, the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) initially listed Vision Quest for a 2024-2025 season release, indicating that there were at least preliminary plans in place for its development. It’s likely that the show will align with MCU Phase 6 and might be released around mid-2025.

2023-12-25 15:02:56 +0000 UTCAgreed! I can understand why she fled though, rather than face whatever consequences that would occur for her actions (even if initially out of her control.) Last time she "faced them", in Civil War, she was locked up on the Raft and cut off from her powers in a rather unjust fashion given how badly the Sokovia Accords were implemented. That absolutely dead look in her eyes during that brief glimpse of them all was really tragic. The sort of position nobody ever wants to find themselves in again. Given for many, heroes and villains alike, their powers are as much an important sense as touch or taste and cutting one off from them could be argued as inhumane (and has been argued in the comics, thanks she-hulk!).

Hayward is kinda portrayed as more of a villain than he actually is imo (he's still a dick tho lool). He was right about Monica's propensity to advocate for the super-powered. He's right to consider Wanda a villain.

2023-12-25 04:16:16 +0000 UTCThat was fun, Jax! Thanks for taking us along on this rollercoaster of a show. In the comics, Wanda's a morally gray character. She's been a hero and a villain and somewhere in the middle again and again. MCU Wanda's had a similar path, often driven by rage and grief. She's a sympathetic character because she's been through so much trauma, and she often tries to do the right thing, though she fails a lot too. And of course being with Vision humanizes her a lot, as he's one of the kindest and most thoughtful heroes in the MCU. What she did to Westview was awful. Even though she didn't intend to create the Hex and imprison all those people, that happened, and she didn't try to help them after all the pain she caused, or even apologize, as you noted. Instead, she fled to the wilderness to study The Darkhold (aka The Book of the Damned), which is very, very bad news.

But on a serious note, when she used her vision magic on tony and let him take the scepter she was really to blame for ultron. If you remember it's a vision similar to the final fight in endgame where caps shield is broken. Later nick fury tell Tony the worst part about seeing his team die was that he didn't. Kinda ironic when Wanda is now watching her family die.

(Sentient World Observation and Response Department) that handle threat for space, there is an A.R.M.O.R. (Altered-Reality Monitoring and Operational) handling threat from other reality. And H.A.M.M.E.R. which was for a short time replacing S.H.I.E.L.D. with one of Spider-Man villain in charge of it.

2023-12-25 00:35:14 +0000 UTC🤣😂 It was "what's the next one gonna be HELMENT?!?!" that made me spit out my drink.🤣🤣🤣 but you do need to get back to the movies. because the TV shows were a parallel to the launch of D+ that just happen to line up with the Pannie. so it all becames confussing if you watch one set and then the other, some are dealing with the Blip, some are just on their own thing. heck a few are all about the 'End of an Era'. to keep watching in relaease order you have to skip back and forward between them all.

The fact that there's relatable reasons for her "turn" is what makes her such an interesting villain here (like the best MCU villains).
