Project Kamp weekahead #166

Hey friends,

This week's video shows what we did on the Brick ruin before the season ends. We got a lot done, like securing the walls, putting in windows and doors, and rebuilding the outside wall. We also built the inside walls with hemp blocks, which we were excited to try. Finally, we made sure to protect everything for the winter. It’s a longer episode with a lot of progress, hope you enjoy it!

And this week at Kamp was quite lonely and relaxed. Not much happening actually but still got some cool pictures from last week and a few from empty kamp.

One of the many activities on the last week of the season was a bug observartion night
Funny guy showed up
You can get really cool pictures, like this moth
During fancy dinner, some good remembrances...
Chesnut time!
With the last rains lagoon filled up again, but we opened the gate so it doesn't stress the wall with the water pressure.
Water went away quite fast and the whole place was really muddy.
Next update, last of the season, we will fix the furniture for the Granite ruin
After the season end, many kampers went together on a weekend beach trip.
And Kamp... well not so empty after all, these sheep are going crazy for oak nuts.
We also found this cool lizzard, not sure what species it is.
And last, a top view of the land. As you can see it's getting greener and greener with the rain. πŸ’§πŸŒΏ

And that was it for this update, hope you enjoyed the video and don't forget to vote for your favourite thumbnail! πŸ—³οΈπŸ‘‡

Ah rainy season has started here in the Pacific NW too. Hope the end of the seaaon episode features a roll call of this years Kampers. It feels like we didnt get to.meet as many this year.

I just realized that there's a second granite ruin practically right on top of the brick no-longer-a-ruin! Maybe these two structures could eventually be combined with a covered, paved walk? It looks like a great size for a shower house.
