Project Kamp week ahead #154

Hey friends,

This week, we continue our work on the Granite ruin/house. We will be plastering the top room using natural materials, transforming the rough rock walls into a beautifully polished finish. Miguel will guide us through the process and add some creative touches at the end. We hope you enjoy it!

We also have some new faces at Kamp this week! Carlota is joining the kitchen POD, and also Trevor, who is back with us after Season 4. This year, he seems to prefer chopping veggies than mimosas.

Additionally, our workspace has gained some reinforcements—welcome, Josie!

Last week was still quite hot, but today feels a bit cooler. However, heat waves may return soon. For now, Menno has set up a tarp to provide some shade from the afternoon sun at the workspace.

The kitchen team has been busy preparing jam...

...and the brick ruin project is progressing well—stay tuned for updates! 🧱

Menno is working hard, as usual, this time on the outdoor kitchen for the Granite Ruin. Our video team is also very focused; 🛠️

And Antoine from the videomaking POD is currently working on update #155, and we have some exciting surprises in store! 🎥

That wraps up this week! Don’t forget to vote for your favorite thumbnail! 👇

This episode brought me unexpected peace. The songs you chose (especially the jazz tune az 15:02) and the process was just heartwarming to watch. It really got me surprised how in the zone Miguel was and seeing him in the state of flow as he created art - which is I think a new and very welcome thing in a Project Kamp video - was a real pleasure. The slow piano music fit like a glove. Thank you for this experience! It pulled me in so much that the outro felt very contrasty. Thanks!

Hey Kampers, thank you for this aaamaaazing job ! As I said last week, this is the type of project that will be cool to be teased a bit during the happening. Photos are cool and news from kamp always good to read, but in video it could have makes a very good suspense effect, also for the algorithms ;) ! Love your job Miguel ! Very fascinating to see how passionate you are ! And very nice to see a lot of people from different pods evolving around this huge project <3 Thanks Kampers! Keep going and I hope everyone is fine and I pray to fire keeps far from you ! Take care and se you next week ! Bjnhs i abraços ;-* !
