Project Kamp Week ahead #149

Hey friends,

This week, we bring you some kitchen adventures involving the picking and processing of oranges, as well as an update on the bee situation we encountered a few weeks ago.

Click here to watch #149 Oranges and Bees

At Kamp, we continue to work hard on our projects, as you might have guessed. The brick ruin is progressing well, and we’ll soon have a video update on it.

A lot of work to lower the bedrock. But on top of that, we needed some extra rocks, so we brought in our landscape pod to help with the load.

Additionally, we keep working (and filming) on the material bank to build the future Community Center...

...and the extension of our water system.

The bread business is running as usual.

The granite ruin is still being plastered, which is taking longer than we expected.

Since we have plenty of clay for the granite ruin, Miguel allowed us to use some for a human hour activity. Many of us participated and tried to create portraits of our friends using this clay, resulting in some quirky but satisfying creations!

We also have a new videomaker! Welcome, Felipe 🇲🇽🇩🇪!

That’s all for this week. I hope you enjoy the video, and see you soon!

Last year zucchinis this year oranges. There is always a food saga. :D Entertaining episode. And thanks for all the additional photos here for us patreons. I think those photos are allways a nice little extra inside.

If there’s any of the orange and almond cake (gf) left for my visit in September I’d be happy to help eat it 😂. Great to learn more about the bees from your beekeeping neighbour - Julie was brave to go in there and got stung for her troubles, but your camera person was even braver if s/he went in with no suit!
