Chat Mode - Sentient Sims 3.3.3
Added 2024-06-27 19:42:09 +0000 UTCI am excited to announce the release of the new Chat mode in Sentient Sims.
You can now have your Sims chat one on one with each other in a conversation, similar to SillyTavern or text-generation-webui.
The chats are stored into memory just like other interactions.
If you need to edit or delete a memory in the Memories page in the app, it should reflect the changes in the Chat window. I will be adding features like editing the messages to the Chat window soon.
This is all now possible from a huge breakthrough I made in Sims 4 UI modding. The UI in the Sims runs Flash and I found a way to hook into the code and load my custom UI elements. This hasn't been possible until now, and it opens up a world of opportunities that weren't possible before.
I was using the App for things like Location Sim and Memories, but now that I can create custom UI elements I can move all that functionality into the game so that you don't have to switch back and forth.
