I'm in a bit of a pickle as far as how I want to continue sharing this thing. NTO followers might not want it in their inbox but I'd like to continue sharing it with all Patron levels; it is NSFW in places but not strictly erotica. Linking an offsite file or adding it as a download are cumbersome solutions and I really wish Patreon just had a clickthrough content warning blur.

2023-03-07 01:01:43 +0000 UTCI've seen some other artists have the first image be a NSFW warning image so Patreon displays the next image(s) as smaller thumbnails as a potential. I think, unless they've changed things, you can have the main image be a NSFW warning, add a cut to the description, then embed an image in the description so all you'd need to do is click through the "read more" and still be able to enlarge the embedded image. That way if people aren't interested in seeing NSFW stuff there's a few options to obscure it without doing links or downloads, which I agree are tedious (especially the download, I hate needing to delete files so I don't scroll through porn while showing someone pictures of my cat or accidentally text it to my mom 🙃).
