This is where all my time is going...

Here's a small peak into what I've been working really hard on over the last week. The visuals have been like 5% of my time. Getting everything mapped and decrypting has swallowed the majority of my time. Gen4 is by far the hardest game to get memory out of in real-time.

FPS is a major concern right now for gen4. I am intentionally not thinking about it while we solve other problems. Compounding the fact that the games run really slow, extracting all the memory in real -time tends to slow them down even more... which is... unfortunate.

Hey Scott, just wondering, as you are patching the spinners in gens 2 and 3, what about QoL for Gen4? Renegade Platinum has a bunch of features such as early bike, 60 fps patch, no HP/XP bar animation, and instant patch. The latter three are actually a separate patch, unlikely it works out of the box for a vanilla rom, but it's probably not too much effort porting it over.
