IMPORTANT tier update for $25 and higher patreons - Patreons drawing request changes
Added 2021-12-28 20:42:51 +0000 UTCDearest patrons, in December of 2017 this Patreon was set up and we’ve come a LONG way since then and not much has changed in regards to the Patreon rewards.
However, I need to make some changes to the Patreon-drawing-requests now. When I first set up the Patreon-drawing-requests segment, my drawings took maybe an hour, tops. Now they take several hours to do. Some of the super detailed ones with faces and lots of colour and lots of scenery and all that can take up to 8-9 hours sometimes. That is a lot of time taken away from creating artwork for the videos you all love to support and see me create. And in 2022 I am planning to push the illustrations EVEN FURTHER.
I’m not going to stop offering and creating Patreon artwork, I have no intention of doing that. However, I am adapting the style and the amount of work I am willing to put into a request which is reflective of a Patreon‘s tier. (PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED PHOTOS).
If some of you believe this is unacceptable and decide to leave, I fully understand and I thank you for your patronage whether it have been over the days, months or years in the case of many of you.
I’ve always tried my hardest to do my best by my Patreons and give you 110% but all the lost hours are taking their toll now. It drains me a bit and I just need to tweak things to make things sustainable going forward. These new changes will come into effect at the start of the new year.
