I finally finished watching this, via your reaction videos the entire series BTW. Really loved this finale and was a total mess the entire time (not sure how you kept it together!). This was bittersweet just like 25/21 in terms of the ending and I think that's my favorite thing about k-dramas, they really nail that tone so well. I loved the actress who played Deok Son, only recently realizing she was in a kpop group called Girls Day who had some great singles. Really appreciate you doing these type of reactions, it's more fun to watch these shows like this.

It's my favorite drama probably ever, and seeing it through new eyes was a joy :) The family-name business is definitely wild and seemed so even at the time from what I've heard. Good wiki article on it-- "Article 809" if anybody is interested in some of the Confucian and practical background for how this came to be the case. And yeah wedding-hall weddings in Korea are usually amazingly swift, lol, and sometimes there is an MC haha. Like the entire thing including meal can be two hours! Can't say I hate it haha
