Losing Control Feedback

New sub here, loved the comic!! Would absolutely enjoy seeing more just like it, the slow subversion of weightloss tropes, the growing acceptance of her growing bod, it was all lovely.

I enjoyed it a lot! I think that the only thing that would make it better is if there was a story or overarching narrative in addition to Sammy's internal dialogue about her loss of control. Then again, mileage may vary based on what you are trying to achieve!

I don’t care much where you go in the future as far as content type is concerned (I’ll love it all the same). The comic was a joy to read, as the plot was joined with legitimate character growth (and I’m not talking about Sammy’s waistline). While I enjoy the art you do outside of comics, I feel that the ongoing story enhances the experience of your art to a higher degree. Of course, comic pages take a significant deal of time to make, so going down other routes are also welcome.

I loved it! I was disappointed that we never got to see Sammy in her undies when she was skinny to compare to when she was bigger. I hope to see another slow burning weight gain comic like this, I like when they slowly gain and we gradualy get to see the girl get bigger. Please make more weight gain comics like this :)

I really liked. I am confused on time line though when in relation to other characters like Hailey and Nat. Also I love the character Hailey and Nat. Would love to see a comic of them entering a relationship. I've loved the brief one page things you have done with them.

This was a very good first effort. It's hard to get pacing exactly right, especially when first starting out with the comic format. The art was top notch. It makes for an interesting back story for Sammy, even if the ending seemed a bit rushed. People compare this to KipTeiTei's comic stories, but even their earlier stories were uneven in places compared to later ones. For the people wishing Sammy had some support, I think it's clear that she has had some, and that it was out of the scope of this particular story. I see it as present-day Sammy reflecting on her "journey" from athletic to unintentional weight gain to disgust with her body to reluctant acceptance to embracing it. Salt has made it clear that she's friends with Nat, Chloe, and Halie, and he even posted a long-form story with all four of them back in October about them attending a Halloween party. Sammy seemed relatively comfortable with her size in that story, so it was either set after the events of the comic, or during the latter part of it, at any rate. Salt has said we'll be seeing more of her, and I have a feeling Sammy will likely end up at least as big as Nat and Chloe (hanging out with people that big can make staying "small" next to impossible).

I can also say the ending felt a bit rushed. Her sudden acceptance seemed unrealistic, where maybe she would struggle with the idea of acceptance normally - eventually leading to acceptance. I did really enjoy the way the story was told as a flashback. It was especially interesting seeing her seem dour at first and towards the end you got what appeared to be some nice, genuine smiles. On a different note, was a big fan of the character design. I'm a sucker for ponytails/braids, and the body shape was great. Art quality continues to impress as well.

It was terrific, visually. But I agree with others who've said the ending felt rushed. I didn't ultimately get "losing control" out of it, just a slow, realistic acceptance of herself and her body. I don't remember there being any scenes as engrossing as one of your still images. Watching her graze on junk consistently over a few years didn't capture my imagination the way stuffing herself silly and dealing with the aftermath would have, but I thought you were going to get to it eventually. Watching binges go from shameful to enjoyable would have been nice. Still, I'd be very interested to see more comics. The design of the whole thing was great.

It was good, the new style of shading paid off and the gain moved at a good pace. I might be the minority but I do wish there was at least one page with some burping content? I know you’ve done it before but I didn’t know if it was something you personally enjoy or just happens because of commissions from freaks like me lmao. For the next comic I’d love for something more sexually explicit because you’ve done that really well in a lot of pieces. You should just keep making what makes you happy though.

I think you did really great with showing us different angles of her in different pages and I only want to see more angles of her in future stories or drawings. Just something more consistent with how she looks while showing us how truly big she is getting. There this thing with the narration I liked because it did show us how her inner monologue worked and I thought that went well. You don’t have to make everyone fat in your stories, I just want to see more consistency with how they look now and what their sizes are supposed to be. I think there was at least one panel where I thought Sammy looked massive and in the next page her legs looked not as big when she started accepting her weight gain. That was also a page where she was wearing sweat pants so I don’t want to interpret that size of her amazing legs wrong, and I don’t want to tell you how to draw your characters when it’s up to you. I just think consistency in size is great for your comics and you already do that well for the most part. Thanks for asking

i thought it was really good all in all, especially since it's not just like one of those comics that's like "oh no i got fat out of nowhere overnight!!", but the ending did seem a little rushed. i feel like obtaining that sort of body confidence takes a little bit of time, but overall it was rly good, 8.5/10 from me

Really good overall. The entire thing being a big flashback was a bit odd, and I'd have loved to see the story from a "as it's happening" stand point, but the art and writing was great and Sammy is a real hottie.

i thought the tone of the narration was a bit creepy and off putting, it didn’t sound like it was the inner monologue of a sporty athletic girl losing control, it sounded like a cynical boyfriend who really wanted her to get fat from the beginning i loved the art though!

My girlfriend and I both wished she'd had some support, perhaps from a potential paramour. While that's the usual way these comics go (author self-insert character, etc), it was disappointing that she only got confused disinterest from the outside. I also have a real hard time getting the shading to behave right when viewing the pictures at different resolutions; they become distracting clumps of patterns instead of what you likely intended. Not sure if that's exclusive to saved/downloaded image compression, but that definitely works against the manga shading method. It was *really* well done, though. Your artwork is incredible, and is only getting better. This comic is a new peak.

I really love it and want to see both more of it and of Sammy. Maybe another comic where a friend of Sammy has the habits rub off. Honestly, this comic put me in awe enough to try learning to do this myself.

I like standalone pictures but I much prefer stuff with a sense of progression. I thought the paneling and shading and everything was awesome., never personally minded things not being colored. The more realistic approach was nice, and looking at it all together as one work it's really nice but I won't lie that some weeks felt like not much changed/happened from the per page update perspective. Not really a bad thing, it's the tradeoff of it feeling like a straight sequence or more of a story. In the future I'd like to see more character interactions or situations they have to deal with, considering this was pretty much only narration with sparse dialogue which made the character feel a little weak. Feels like we got a lot of her internal monologue but still don't know much about her if that makes any sense. Also would like a shorter but more fanservicey thing focused on one or two characters.

I will admit I wasn't a big fan. I like the premise and thought the art and atmosphere was done well, but I felt it was a drawn out and didn't have a satifying ending like in the Lucy comic. I will admit I do prefer lewder content so maybe this just wasn't for me. I would like to see you do more erotic weight gain stories in the future.

I liked it for what it was, it was like the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy. Real and raw. I liked the pace, because I knew what it was going to be like given the subject matter. The art and form matched. I would only selfishly say I wished her size would have been a bit higher for the final stage of acceptance. But, the final 1/3rd had some amazing drawings at a pretty big size. So, well done. I selected the one that asked for you to try again, only because I would love more of this kind!

It was fantastic! I think you're pacing is really great, things didn't feel sluggish or too fast either you struck that balance really well. Sammy is also super cute. Would love to see more comics like this in the future. Perhaps with either another OC of yours or maybe even make a poll of characters you wanna make a comic of!

I think there's always room for improvement, but you set the bar really, really high with this one, not just for yourself and any future comics you might be doing, but also for everyone else doing fat/weight gain art. I'm also glad you didn't end up making Sammy insanely and unrealistically huge.

I absolutely loved it Sammy is by far my favorite of your oc’s (I’m personally a bigger belly and boob guy so shit instantly got points for that) but I’m sad with how short it was I know it was an intro style so you absolutely killed it and hope in the future to get more comics that are longer (and of course featuring Sammy)

I appreciated how grounded the overall plot was, and felt that such a story didn't need to go off the rails or do anything more than it did to succeed. While adding other characters could offer more directions for things to go, it introduces the possibility for the story to spread itself too thin in ways that this story didn't have to worry about. At the end of the day, I see something like this as us giving you money to do what you want, as you see fit, so I suppose the only thing I can really say is to just keep doing that.

My only complaint was with the plot itself, as I felt is was just unbelievably generic. The art was excellent but the plot was lackluster. My input is I would suggest trying wackier plots and content. Maybe the girl gets stuck depending on her size, more struggles and conflict apart from her growing size, etc.

Concerning the comic itself, the ending was a bit off, kind of suddenly accepting her gain. Otherwise it was a great read, very nice angles, people's reactions, the character's thoughts, etc.

Loved it. Definitely want to see more. I'd like to see some more fantastical elements to the weight gain, if thats something youd be interested in doing.

I thought it was excellent overall! If I were to make a suggestion, it'd be to include more characters. Not necessarily gainers (but not necessarily *not* gainers), but other people who can react to the MC's changing weight, or maybe even influence it, rather than everything focusing only on a single person.
