Subscription billing no longer required? Also update I guess haha

I just found out that apparently we are no longer required to transition from "per creation" billing to subscription billing by November. It isn't set in stone how long the deadline will be put on hold for, or if they'll just drop the subscription billing requirements entirely but this is great news regardless.

Part of why I've been so inactive is because I've been putting off moving from "per creation" billing to subscription billing, it has deflated my motivation. Subscription billing is difficult to keep track of since it's based on individual sign up dates, sending rewards and tokens with such a system is an incredible pain.

The other reason why I've been so inactive is because I've been reviving an older account, which will also get its Patreon page back soon hopefully. If you don't know what that account is, do not worry about it, it probably wouldn't interest you anyway. You heard nothing from me, what account? cough

In other news, I was notified that I can start using the shop feature on here. They were slowly rolling this out for NSFW creators and now I have access to it. I've been considering adding some pieces on there to allow people to get rewards right away instead of having to wait for tokens, especially since getting tokens is tied to me being active which is sporadic. However to keep the value of pledging, I will be selling stuff in the shop grouped together, so if you want a single piece or a combination of certain drawings that aren't in the shop, you will have to go through the token system. If you like the groups I put together in the shop however, then the shop would be better for you.

Anyways I've yet to test out the shop, and maybe nothing will work as expected and everything I said is meaningless. Of course I'll keep you posted when it goes live, whenever that is.

So you're probably wondering when will I be active again, honestly I do not know. I ran into some issues with some fake DMCA takedowns on Twitter earlier in the year which set me back as well. I've noticed over the years my art style has been getting simpler and simpler which idk if people even like anymore. The revival of the other account will keep my attention divided which would mean I'd have to simplify things on both sides of the coin as well. Of course what I see as simple might still be awesome for you guys, so I'm not gonna say it looks awful until you guys see new drawings from me.

For now I shall take my leave again, for those of you who are still here thank you for being awesome. This is why I like "per creation" billing, no one lost money for my inactivity! It's a beautiful thing. Stay cool people!
