This month I got quite a lot done. I made some new animations for Yuuki and implemented them into the project (seen above).
I drew 3 cgs plus variants (2 for the lustlock labyrinth, 1 for Yuuki)
the cg for Yuuki completes a set of 3 needed for an important scene part way through the game, so I've scripted and implemented that as well...
I redid a lot of code for the match 3 to prevent a bug i couldnt properly trace... the redo makes the game go a bit slower as tokens need to fall from higher to refill the gaps, but i ought not be too jarring. I could probably make a game out of this in a month (just need at least one more live2d character and cgs to unlock for everyone), but my main goal setting forward is to hopefully get yuuki ready for early access, and finish lustlock labyrinth,
BEFORE NOVEMBER. 5 months to get both games ready should definitely be manageable. Only the burnout is making it worrisome.
This month I hope to complete:
writing the scenes for the cg i drew for Lustlock, and plan on doing those this month.
I also hope to draw the scenes for the next floor of the game
Start adding jobs to Yuuki, It's getting hard to think of stat raising activities without having anything to do with them... So having jobs seems like the logical thing... Will also be writing a scene introducing Yuuki to the bank so she can have her own money. I feel like making that Optional should also be a choice... but there'd have to be interesting consequences either way. Going forward I should also focus on getting key scenes added so a complete experience can be made. Afterwards it should be easier to add more activities and social links to properly fill the time.
I'm really hoping to have something worth showing off soon. everything i've made in Yuuki so far isn't properly available in normal gameplay, so releasing a demo is a little difficult.
So I'll be trying my hardest to get at least some new scenes added to Lustlock so I can release a playable update soon. The 2nd floor has at least 3 scenes including a boss, but i haven't properly decided on the normal enemies yet.
