An exclusive video for Patreon

You've probably already considered this, but the drop in views in Jan is a byproduct related to the drop in ad rates. There are many channels that take breaks / holidays / time off / whatever you want to call it. Less videos in the month by the creators you engage with domino effects the overall engagement in the platform.

I'm premium as well. Yeah, creators do get paid when we view their content. It's my understanding it's a bit more than they would get from a non-premium viewer who sits through all the ads.

Skol Beau! You’re very welcome. I came upon your videos around June of 2018. The introductory video of Beau. America’s response to immigration. I wish I could recollect why I watched. I didn’t watch YouTube or videos on Facebook. It was basically a fluke. I was curious. Probably because of your appearance. A bearded guy with a Curious George patch on an operators cap. (Within 2 months I had that patch on my hat. Now I have put the patch away. I am notorious for losing hats.) I usually get humorous or past cartoon patches that have a subtle or high brow backstory. Soon after, I tried to find out your background. Looked back on the other FB pages you had etc. Very cool story! Very well read and knowledgeable. You changed my mind on the gun debate about the semiauto rifles that as you said are the most popular platform. My father-in-law was a gunsmith. My wife incidentally has forgotten more than what some tough guys know about guns. Anyhow, soon after you set up your Patreon, I became a member at the delta level. My only Patreon account. A couple years later I changed to a lower level so I could donate to some other entities directly that are connected to similar interests as your’s. We live on acreage in literally the sticks and swamps of northern Minnesota. I’m rarely away from our section. Somewhat close to being a hermit with a family. So basically I can relate to some of the issues you speak of on YouTube and Twitter. You and your wife give me a chuckle nearly everyday. I often share your tweets and videos with my girls. Yes I’m also a feminist. I was brought up on that assertion. My dad was a good guy. On many levels you have led me to research and investigate topics I would never have considered. So thank you for that. I really wish I could do more, but with 4 daughters you can about imagine. Perhaps in the future. Keep it going! I’m really curious to where your future endeavors will lead. David Pakman had his views significantly decrease recently, I think it's a YouTube thing. You should investigate. They favor the right wing it would appear.

I don't recall Beau saying Ukraine would win quickly, but rather that Russia could not win. Those two statements are not the same. He said this largely because Russia is like the small dog chasing a car - "what are you going to do with it if you catch it?" Russia does not have the numbers of soldiers needed to hold the territory.

You are forgetting that he rarely interjects his own views into his videos. Americans are blind to how much fascism is going on in America. Cop City is a great example. We fund the things that hurt our communities while leaving those broken by such decision to fend for themselves. We will forever struggle to change this country until the average person, mainly white people, realize this and speak up.

I used to like Beau's point of view and subscribed via Patreon. Though I unsubscribed some time ago I continue to receive these special updates in my Patreon feed. (I'm not complaining, I guess I still get included to boost Beau's supporter #s? but no skin off my nose since I'm no longer funding the site.) The reason I un-subbed was very disappointed & disgusted that Beau has been dishonest with the Ukraine-NeoCon war against Russia cheerleading. When I started supporting him he seemed to be a left wing person who wouldn't support say, the murder of civilians in the Donbass during 9 years of shelling since the 2014 coup there . . . but I know he has some kind of military veteran status, & now I notice that I don't think he's ever said a word in his content about the murder of Palestinian civilians, including children, e.g. by Israel. Anyway, Beau's past content claiming Ukraine would "win" will soon be proven false on it's own lack of merit. Disappointed that Beau is allied with neo-Nazi led fascists in the Slavic hinterlands, but hey, gotta pay the bills, can't bite the government linked hand that feeds you, I get it!! I'm not a tribalist however (though I am a white male) & I don't support killing civilians by the most horrible empire that has ever existed in human history-- after all, the previous Nazi Reich collapsed after only 13 years, while Bush-Cheney alone killed a couple million in the Mideast, displaced millions more refugees etc. & Obama, who I voted for the first time, just continued the war-crimes & regime changes, installing right-wing, Neoliberal austerity governments everywhere the could to the detriment of local people . . . US is falling apart, people are denied affordable housing and health care, glad Beau supports sending billion$ to corrupt Ukraine (sex trafficking, drug-trafficking, arms trafficking) but the game is up and U$ will soon enough be a 3rd class power after China and likely Russia as well. It happened to Rome & it's happening to the settler-colonialist U$A now as well, glad to see the carnage and empire collapse of its own delusions.
