Adventures of Cat (Princess) Dev Preview

Here are some previews for the next build of Adventures of Cat (Princess):

Jelly Cat Gang

The Jelly Cat Gang is replacing the original "miniboss" event before Evil Jelly. With how the combat is currently setup, having four or five Jelly Cats attacking you was very overwhelming with a party size of only one on your team. Mostly because you spend so much time cleansing you don't get very many opportunities to attack.

Right now, in Chia 1.1, the placeholder for the new miniboss is in place and will feature a swarm enemy type which will feature new artwork, chance of multiple actions, and unique attacks and dialogue. In the future, the Jelly Cat Gang may become a recurring enemy.


Bad Jelly

I'm decided to rework the Bad Jelly battler (again) to bring them in line with the style of the new artwork. I may also look at trying to make their not-so-secret secret encounter more of an engaging fight rather than solely up to chance.


'Ard Jelly

This is the newest Jelly Cat on the roster aptly named: 'Ard Jelly (or Hard Jelly)

This particular Jelly Cat will be unique in that it will be almost completely immune to standard physical damage meaning you will not be able to beat them with normal attacks which is currently all that Chrissy has in the game. Hopefully, Chrissy will be able to find some kind of weakness to take down this new Jelly Cat.

'Ard Jelly will most likely appear in a new area after the Evil Jelly encounter.


Evil Jelly Encounter

The Evil Jelly is generally where they need to be at after some balancing needs to be done. However, I do anticipate to create a special "corruption" event and Game Over for Evil Jelly that will feature a special Vore event. Currently, this is only an idea, but it may be the first Game Over with a Bad End sequence.


New Area

The game currently ends after you beat the Evil Jelly, but with so much interest in the game I am currently mapping out a new area that will a proper RPG experience. In other words, new enemies, new events, NPCs, and such things. Keep an eye out!


Concept: Jelly Boosts

I have been thinking about introducing a simple crafting system at some point to give more cause to murdering swaths of what may be someone's babies. Most likely will add resources that are dropped by specific Jelly Cats which can be concentrated into Boosters which can give Chrissy small permanent boosts or even special abilities. This may also introduce the opportunity of Flawed Boosters which may cause some corruption.

This is mostly a concept at this point, but it's something that will most likely show up in the new area of the game.
