"Old Regalia's Hidden School for the Magically Impaired" - Lyrics
Added 2024-10-15 18:17:03 +0000 UTCAt Old Regalia’s Hidden School for the Magically Impaired
There’s a centaur in the living room
With a couple legs to spare
There’s a harpy playing harp
She’s had every feather plucked
There’s a painting of a little boy
Inside a ghost is stuck
At Old Regalia’s Hidden School for the Magically Deformed
There’s a minotaur who’s making soup
Born with neither horn
There’s a mermaid who made trade for legs
But couldn’t learn to walk
If you need it, at Regalia’s, there’s a spot
I’ll tell ya who won’t fail ya
Old Regalia
If you feel like a failure
Old Regalia’s
Where you should go
Turned a freak show to a home
No matter what ails ya
You can count on Old Regalia
At Old Regalia’s Hidden School for the Magically Impaired
There’s a wolfman with anxiety
Who keeps tugging on his hair
There’s a zombie acting calm
He’s not really into brains
There’s a half-elf mutant youngin’
Who likes building model trains
At Old Regalia’s Hidden School for the Magically Deformed
There’s a girl who witch, switched to a broom
Sweeping up the floors
There’s a frog who turned into a prince
But didn’t gain IQ
Theres a place for everybody
Even you
I’ll tell ya who won’t fail ya
Old Regalia
If you feel like a failure
Old Regalia’s
Where you should go
Turned a freak show to a home
No matter what ails ya
You can count on Old Regalia
Count on Old regalia x 2
(Yeah, you can count on her)

Yes! It’s one of the first songs I really fell in love with - it’s simple and comforting, and the sense of unconditional acceptance is so sweet and exactly what people need.

2024-10-17 20:01:24 +0000 UTCOld Regalia has to be one of my favourite songs of all time, it’s so heartbreakingly beautiful to learn more about all the characters in the latest instalments, and every new addition fits so perfectly while also expanding the universe in ways I’d never expected. Holding my breath to see what comes next!
