When you see clothing textures appearing on shoes, it's because all textures of a Sims (clothing, accessories, shoes, etc) are grouped on a single image with limited space. Creators have to place their textures where they can, which can lead to overlaps. I use a template provided by Sims 4 Studio, but not all creators use the same template, which sometimes causes these conflicts. This can still happen if my clothing textures needs a lot of space or if shoe creators place their textures where I place mine. It's neither the shoe creators' fault nor mine, the texture space is just limited. I do my best to avoid this problem by using less space, but that can impacts the quality of my custom content. I try to find a compromise so that there is no overlap issue, while still maintaining good texture quality 💕
