Thoughts On THE WOLFMAN
Added 2025-03-22 15:28:34 +0000 UTCI wasn’t able to see this in theaters, but finally got my Blu-ray copy of THE WOLFMAN in the mail. Im trying to do more Boots To Reboots videos this year so expect this one to get crossed off in the future. Anyone see this yet? The creature reveal at Halloween Horror Nights months before the movie came out kinda ruined any excitement I had for it. Wasn’t digging the creature design at all. Hope it looks better in the actual movie.

It is the first letdown for me for Leigh Whannell as a director and storyteller. It isn't bad, but it isn't necessarily focused on mythology or the lore behind it. It has some inventive moments of tension and cool visuals, but sadly not a strong outing.
