Levi update! – cute as heck

More Music Coming!

I’m busy writing music.  One of the reasons I’m trying to write as much as possible is to improve my production skills (I think I’ve levelled up my mixing!).

Another reason is to clear a pipeline from production to publishing. Ideally, as I produce music, I have spaces to publish it so as many people can hear it as possible. This includes finding and collaborating with other people and possibly record companies.  Research is ongoing!

In the meantime, you can expect to continue hearing about one new track/week. I’m also happy to take any piano requests… anyone?  Eventually, I’d like to continue my regular streaming and Patreon masterclasses, but my computer is on its last legs, and can hardly handle Ableton sessions. Hoping to upgrade soon.

Pico-8, MilkyTracker & Chiptunes

With all this music writing and Ableton production, I haven’t had any time to spend with Pico-8 or MilkyTracker.  I feel bad about this.  BUT!  When Picotron is released, I’d like to do some live streams and tutorials with its new tracker.

For now, I’m always here to answer questions and help solve your music problems. Ask away!

Jazz Piano Articles

My latest article on playing fast runs is turning into a beast!  Sometime in June, I’ll be writing an update about connecting runs to meter and the left hand.  There’s still lots to write about though, including Chick Corea runs, using physical transposition as a means to structure practice, and incorporating bebop scales into this framework.

I may also take a break from writing and do some transcriptions (John Taylor maybe?). At this rate, it won’t be done until 2023. This is the price for being thorough!
