Recipe Override: For Rent Hot Cocoa Uses Seasons Hot Cocoa Textures

Important update for non-English games: the cloned objects should now reference the game's string tables and will therefore no longer all be in English!

Hey! Did you know Seasons has an unused for-here hot cocoa mug WITH MARSHMALLOWS?

Did you know it wasn't brought back for the Electric Kettle hot cocoa that looks like regular coffee?

Did you know that simply overriding that hot cocoa's textures will turn EVERY COFFEE into hot cocoa?

These are things I learned both before and during my efforts in making the new hot cocoas actually hot cocoas.

And so, I bring you what I had to do as compromise: make a 32-bit definition clone of the Seasons hot cocoa and then swap out the object definitions referenced in the hot cocoa recipes. Now, maybe I could've gotten away with just changing these object definitions to the originals, but after the incident with the texture overriding, I decided to play it safe.

Just slide these two packages (the no marshmallows comes with an edited texture without marshmallows) - you can and are encouraged to use both - into your Documents/The Sims 4/Mods/Overrides folder. If SCCO or any other recipe overhaul mods make changes to these recipes that you want to keep, let me know and we can work something out either on my end or theirs.

Enjoy your tasty hot choccy milk, frens!

(For Rent is guaranteed required, Seasons may or may not be required - the textures were exported and imported during a previous override attempt, so use without Seasons at your own risk)

I actually LOVE you

THANK YOU!

As long as you also have For Rent it should work. This mod overrides the recipe used with the electric kettle so without For Rent it could be a problem

I have seasons pack will your mod work if I download it?

Oh dear! I completely forgot defaults tend to do that I'll fix that right away!

Looks good! The string tables are all English again unfortunately, perhaps the original non-english strings could be carried forward?
