Text Overrides - I'm Not Your "Pal," Buddy
Added 2023-01-17 22:29:04 +0000 UTCYou ever have a word you absolutely hate for no particular reason? For some people, it could be "moist" or "pumpernickel." For me? It's "pal."
The only person allowed to say "pal" is Dick Gumshoe and that's IT. Even Arthur Read's dog is on thin ice.
So, I bring two text overrides: one for Seasons/Snowy Escape that changes "Snow Pal" to "Snow Buddy," and one for My Wedding Stories that changes "Flower Pal" (the worst one) to "Flower Spreader" (this is the name of the role in the game's tuning files anyway."
Now you too can have a "pal" free game, how the watcher intended.

if they were going to use the word 'pal' for MWS they could have at LEAST have the decency to call them a "petal pal"
