One-year anniversary, and upcoming Patron rewards!

Greetings, dear Patrons!

Nearly one year has passed since the Dreaming Door Patreon was created, and it has been a very successful year. The Patreon has raised a little over $10,000 total in that time, which has enabled us to release official Spanish and Chinese translations of Golden Treasure, create art and script for Hierophant, and keep the Dream alive.

A thousand thanks to all of our Patrons of any and every tier for your generosity and dedication to our art. Once the Chinese version is released, the majority of Earth humans will be able to play the game in either their first or second language, a goal we have been aiming to achieve for years, and all because of you. Thank you.

But words alone cannot suffice for the extreme generosity shown by some of our members. Dreaming Door patrons of any tier who have given over $100 since the Patreon began a year ago are now eligible to receive a free Dreaming Door poster via mail of any tarot card of their choice from the original Golden Treasure and its expansion. The posters are 11 x 14" (28 x 36 cm) glossies, allowing them to fit in a variety of spaces, and can be easily framed or simply used as is. If you are one of these high-tier, generous Patrons, please follow the directions at the bottom of this post to receive yours. They will be sent out by the end of the month.

If you are not one of those people, fear not! You have two options available:

For the price of $40 for the first poster and $30 for any additional ones plus shipping, any Patron may avail themselves of the aforementioned posters. The stained glass-style tarot designs are already gracing some walls... a few were given out at Anthrocon last month... and we're very pleased with how they came out. Beginning Winter Solstice 2024, all members who have reached $100 for the first time will be eligible to receive a free signed poster by mail, so if you've missed the cutoff this time, you can look forward to your own free poster when the planet's southern pole is bathed in greatest light.

Instructions to receive your Golden Treasure tarot poster:

Send Ludwig a direct message on Discord (as bludwig) or an e-mail (at bludwig@dreamingdoor.net) stating the following:

1. Your full name and your name on the Patreon

2. Your full address (include two addresses if you live in a country which does not use the standard Roman alphabet, one in alphabetic letters and one in the language of your country, ex. Simplified Chinese or Cyrillic)

3. Which tarot card you would like (check the gallery in the game to browse them) as well as whether you would like it signed, and if so, what name to use for the signing (no additional charge)

The posters will be sent completely free of charge, including shipping, to qualifying Patrons, but those who do not qualify at this time and would simply like to buy them, or those who do qualify but who would like more than one poster, will receive instructions on how to pay for them via PayPal. We are currently looking at setting up an official shop on Patreon, but did not want to wait for that for this first run. (Also, we promise not to share any of the name/address/whatever information you give us with anyone else for any reason, under any circumstances.)
