The Impresario Revealed, and Happy New Year!

We've made it to a new calendar year, and to ring it in, we'd like to visually introduce the Impresario, the wealthiest Draak on Newhome at the time Hierophant begins. Also known as the Savior of Tapalo, the Great Entertainer, and Arthas Unbounded, its whispers crush civilizations and its many inventions and innovations change the way life is lived on Tapalo and beyond. Fans of The Great Green may recognize the Kin in question, and might guess at some of the methods it used to become so powerful. Depending on one's decisions, it may be the greatest of allies or the deadliest of foes, but be warned: the Impresario is determined to claim the Empty Throne and unite the world under its commercial and cultural hegemony. For most Kin, this is a distant dream, but the Impresario has the resources and the intellect to make it a reality, unless a certain newly-hatched Hierophant can beat this cleverest of the Kin at its own deadly game.

In other news, The Great Green's Spanish translation is more or less finished, and will be released in the first quarter of the year. Any native Spanish speakers are encouraged to let us know if they are interested in being part of the final beta testing before release; we'd love to hear your feedback on the translation, which was all done manually by a professional translator and community member. Initial reactions have been very positive, but we want to hear from as many people as possible before the Spanish version is released into the wild.  At about the same time, we're hoping to release a Chinese language version of the demo (all of Act 1). While the full game won't be translated until this summer, we'd be happy to share Act 1 with any Chinese-speaking patrons early on.

Only a few days remain for you to submit your proposals for a new species of genta to be featured in Hierophant! Several have been submitted via e-mail and on the official Discord, but we welcome even more! As last time, there will be both a community and Draak-Kin vote, and Dreaming Door also reserves the right to choose one.
