Ave Maria (Lo Fi version)
Added 2024-10-20 18:03:19 +0000 UTCHere’s a fresh take on the famous Ave Maria by Franz Schubert. I’ve previously covered this piece on my channel, but this version introduces a few subtle changes. To make the arrangement easier to play, I’ve modified the position of a couple of arpeggios. This time, I also experimented by placing a sponge under the strings near the bridge, which gives the entire sound a pizzicato effect. In addition, I created a lo-fi backing track, complete with a simple 6/8 drum beat and bass line, to give it a more relaxed, modern feel.

Got your email yesterday with this song, while cooking dinner - and... this is one of the many songs that i cannot listen to it with out whistling : ). It will take me a bit to rebuild my calluses to play my 12 string guitars, but definitely, this song would sound so well with a 12 string : ) cheers from this side.
