Some Exciting News (and some boring stuff as well)

(We assume your Czech is at such a good level that we can greet you in 🇨🇿, hahah)
We have been hugely updating the map with our favourite places; it has over 110 places at the moment. We love when you share with us how you use it in the wild (okay, the streets of Prague). We also appreciate any suggestions on how to make it even better for you or which categories you are most interested in. Feel free to share them here in the comments.
We will also have some more cool stuff for you! In the summer, we shared over 20 tickets to the Pilsner Urquell Experience Museum here in Prague. Next month, we'll have a giveaway of 10 eSIM cards for you, our Patreons, as well as tickets to a football or ice hockey match.
The football match will be on November 26; ice hockey tickets are OK for the full season. If you know you'll be in Prague and would love to attend any of those, please comment below this post.
Last but not least, let me say a huge thank you to all of you who support us. It is hard to describe how much we appreciate it and how much of a help you all are to us. Without you, we might need to open a trdelník stand...

2024-10-27 09:24:56 +0000 UTCI was thinking of saving all of the places to one google map list so I guess that would be my suggestion. Have a Google map location list with everything. That way when I'm in the center of Prague I can see what is close to where I am and go to good places. ... also I have a friend visiting and she wants touristy magnets and post cards. I saw the couple shops in the souvenir list we could find interesting czech postcards. All the super touristy stuff seems to be in the shops in the city center that are..well.. cheaply made and all the same stuff. It would be interesting to learn if there were tourist organizations that sold souvenirs.. maybe an episode on czech candy would be cool? Candy is a good gift to buy friends and family back home. I know czech glass is a big thing, it would be helpful knowing where real czech glass is sold. Hm i also noticed not all of the food recommendations from your videos are on the maps. I definitely re watch those videos( best pizza, burgers, kebabs) a lot. Oh and my last thought is I know most tourists go to the city center but it would be neat if there were more recommendations a little farther from the center. I love how much more chill and normal the restaurants/stores/activities feel away from all the touristy locations. (Sorry for the text wall. I truly love everything you guys do. I recommend your channel to anyone I know who has interest in coming to the czech Republic. Keep up the good work!)

We check them when we have visits, when we get stuck in a routine or when we just want to find a cool place. Maybe now that Honza has a kid you could add a few cool and interesting playgrounds? we also have a kid and a lot of times we end up just going to the same places. Would be nice for the summer :) Hockey tickets would be amazing too haha 🏒🏒

2024-03-16 21:28:45 +0000 UTCWent in to the Irish bar opposite the astronomical clock (down some steps) where they charged us 428ckr for a beer and a gin and tonic, they didn’t tell us the price until we came to pay but they served the drinks very quickly AVOID IT IS OBVIOUSLY A TOURIST TRAP, we have watched so many videos f your videos before coming here (and hope to bump into you both) and knew what to avoid but this one got us big time

(A friend of mine have been there and liked it). I've been to Saunia (many locations around the Czech Republic) and that's always been great. But otherwise, we usually relax in a pub/café/park 😃 But we'll try to add some more activities to the map, thanks!

I just recently heard about Sauna Smíchov which looks like just the place I'd love to go relax after a long day exploring. Just a thought. Hope you guys are well!

A few times I saved places to favorites in Mapy.Cz because I found it easier to use for walking navigation (e.g. it shows pasáže). The map was particularly helpful for finding Černý pieces, meals with vegetables other than zelí, sweet shops for afternoon walking breaks, and for reminding me of places I have seen in your videos.
