Harry Potter, Hero of Legends, Stories and Elves Part 7
Added 2025-08-16 06:35:31 +0000 UTC"The only good cult is a dead cult," Path grumbled as they listened to the serpent haired snake demons chant about their snake god, their high pitched voices sounding like nails on a chalkboard.
"There's nothing wrong with worshipping the God of Tits and Beer," Naughty argued as she double checked to make sure they hadn't accidentally disconnected anything when they'd moved the cannons off the wagon so they'd have a better angle.
"That's entirely different," Path argued.
"Tits and Beer?" Harry asked as Naughty flipped the switch on her cannon, causing an audible hum.
"He's basically a god of parties that travels between worlds or at least that's the story," Path replied with a grin as she double checked to make sure the safety was off on her elemental pistol.
"Permission to fuck them?" Naughty asked eagerly as Harry flipped the switch on the other cannon.
"No, but you can blast the hell out of them," Harry replied as he grabbed the handles of the cannon and pointed it at Gorgan's tent.
"Fuck yeah!" Naughty shouted as she pulled the trigger, sending an azure beam of plasma through the tent and into the horde of demons. "Death to the serpent god!"
'Maybe the Slytherins had a point,' Harry admitted as he pulled the trigger and swept the beam of his cannon the opposite way as Naughty's beam of death.
Path smiled as she turned her pistol on a group of five snake haired men that were trying and failing to flirt with a girl with purple snakes for hair and opened fire, killing three of them before they realized that there was a problem.
"You killed Kenny!" the demonic girl screamed as she grabbed her dagger from her belt and charged Path.
"He deserved it," Path replied as she shot the girl in the head, not actually sure which of the boys had been named Kenny since they'd picked up a lot of weird names. She quickly shot the other two male demons as the girl dropped like a sack of rotten potatoes.
"Eat plasma!" Naughty shouted as she swept the beam back and forth over the demons that were scrambling to get away from the beam of death. "Don't cross the streams!" she shouted when Harry swung his beam back around to deal with a group of demons that had avoided death by tossing themselves to the ground.
"Sorry!" Harry replied as he pulled on the handles and sent the beam back the other way.
"Stop being a kill stealing bitch," Path told her sister, knowing that the only thing that happened if you 'crossed' the beams was more plasma hitting something.
"Eat me," Naughty replied cheerfully as she swept the beam back the other way, killing another group of demons that were trying to flee.
"You should probably," Path trailed off as the hum that Harry's cannon was making shifted to a higher pitch. "Shit! It's going to explode!" she shouted, surprised that it was already overloading.
Harry shoved the cannon into his inventory, cutting off the beam and making the exploding cannon a problem for a future Harry to deal with. "I got it! Keep firing!"
"Yes master!" Naughty replied cheerfully as she worked on killing all of the snake haired demons.
Harry did his best to ignore the screams as he pulled up the interface for his Soul Arts ability, curious if any of the demons they'd killed would give him any useful spells. 'Transformation: Snake Demon, Transformation Snake Girl… flying snake, fiend of possession, garden snake, python and basilisk?'
He checked the details on the Basilisk transformation. 'One way transformation? Yeah, no thanks,' he mused as he checked the rest of the spells. 'Five spells to conjure various types of snakes, eight spells to conjure snake skin belts that have pocket dimensions like inventory spaces and a spell to turn snakes into agate.'
Harry flagged the demons that he could turn into spells so that he wouldn't use them for experience, then swapped over to his Demon Binding interface and started binding the more useful and intelligent demons that they'd killed that couldn't be turned into spells.
Naughty let go of the trigger when the arcane battery hit fifty percent since most of the other demons were already fleeing or dead. "I don't want to stress the cannon or run out of mana in case they regroup."
"That's fine, that's why we have minions," Harry replied as he started summoning the snake-haired demons that he'd bound. "Hunt down the rest of the snake haired demons and kill them."
"Yes master!" one of the snake haired men said cheerfully as he grabbed a trident off one of the dead demons and charged away from the group, fairly sure he'd find plenty of demons to kill for his new master. "Kill them all!"
"Rape the corpses!" one of the other snake girls that Harry had summoned shouted as she charged away from the ground, looking forward to killing everyone.
Naughty scowled as she watched the summoned demons grab weapons and charge in random directions. "There is something seriously wrong with that girl."
"Yep," Path agreed. "What's next?"
"Loot," Harry replied with a smile as he summoned minion Fifty Seven, causing the demonic four year old to appear in front of Harry.
Path studied the naked purple skinned little girl with glowing red eyes, short crimson hair and pointed ears. "Hello."
"Hello," Fifty Seven replied as she glanced around, looking for Harry. "Where's the boss?"
"Hiding, I don't want to get shot," Harry replied as he selected Gorgan's soul on his Soul Arts interface and transformed it into a token that would let him summon magical cowboy hats, not seeing a point in trying to get useful information out of the idiot, especially since he'd have to put up with his squeaky voice.
"Good plan," Fifty Seven agreed as she glanced around at all of the dead demons. "Do you want me to start harvesting the snakes for leather?"
"That would be fantastic," Harry replied as he used the spell token, picking up his new spell.
Fifty Seven summoned her skinning dagger and quickly got to work harvesting the skin from the nearest dead snake. "Do you want me to save the meat from the dead demons?"
"No real point, they're toxic," Path warned her.
"Good to know," Fifty Seven replied, figuring that made things a lot easier. "I'm going to need a bag or some string so I can make a bag."
"I'll see what I can find," Harry replied as he tested his new spell, conjuring a black cowboy hat.
"Nice hat," Path said as she focused on the cowboy hat that was floating in the air.
Harry used his Appraisal ability on the hat. "It prevents sunburn, increases firearm damage by five percent and gives your head a small amount of armor without counting as armor or clothes if that's to your benefit."
"Why would that be a good thing?" Fifty Seven asked.
"Because some of the abilities the rings give only work if you're naked," Naughty replied as she glanced around, wanting to make sure no one snuck up on them since some of the demons had a form of stealth.
"And some magical items only work if you're wearing armor or not wearing armor," Path added as she shot one of the demons that was trying to crawl away from the battlefield.
"Okay," Fifty Seven replied as she continued working.
"Do you think that would boost the damage with my elemental pistol?" Path asked thoughtfully.
"It should, my appraisal ability lists your pistol as a firearm." Harry tossed the hat to Path. "You can have it, I can always conjure more."
"Can I have one?" Naughty and Path asked at the same time.
"Absolutely," Harry agreed as he conjured a hat for each of the girls. He tossed the larger hat to Naughty then walked over and set the other hat on the little demon's head so that she wouldn't have to touch it with her blood covered hands. "Do demons get sunburned?"
"Yes," Fifty Seven complained.
"Depends on the demon," Path replied with a shrug. "Most of us are at least resistant to it because of our innate durability, fire resistance or regeneration."
"Don't shoot the rest of my demons," Harry ordered as he summoned the rest of the leatherworkers and alchemists that he'd bound so they could get started harvesting the snakes.
Naughty glanced at the pack of giggling purple skinned demonic children then went back to scanning the surrounding area to make sure they weren't ambushed. "I promise not to shoot them as long as they're not trying to take the cannon apart."
"That's fair, stay away from the arcane cannon without permission," Harry ordered the alchemists, not interested in having it damaged before they could figure out how to duplicate it.
"Yes boss!" the minions replied.
"Get to work, I want the leather from all of the snakes harvested," Harry ordered.
"I'll grab some empty crates from the wagon," Path said as she walked over to the wagon to grab some crates and her tools before someone walked off with them as all of the children looked a bit shifty.
"Thanks," Harry replied as he opened his stat page and started spending the unmarked demon souls to boost his stats, boosting everything up to five to match his magic then pushing his magic up to nine with the rest of the souls that he hadn't marked for better uses. 'I'm going to need to find stronger demons and better spells. One step at a time.'
Harry closed his stats and Demonic Binding interfaces and opened his Sorcery interface so he could work on the rings. 'Okay, if I swap some of the properties around, the serpent cult ring could give the children five solid boosts and a decent chance for more. Considering the poison clouds that Gorgan was planning on using, giving the next generation immunity to poison would help make sure they aren't wiped out. Immunity to disease? That would probably cover bad food and anything the demons toss in the water. They're already balancing magic and tech so I doubt anyone would complain about the next generation having more magic or being more durable. Increased intelligence?'
'That's probably going to drive their parents a bit insane but they're going to need the edge if they want to survive,' Harry mused as he glanced over the collection of qualities, trying to find a way to build the best rings.

Sirius looked up from reading Luna's enchanting notes over Hermione's shoulder when he heard someone walking over. "Let me guess, you barely escaped?"
"What are you working on?" Neville asked, doing his best to ignore his blush as he thought about the women in the temple that had promised to do great and terrible things to him when he came back with the magic rings.
Luna turned and gave Neville a smile. "Nice to see you."
"Luna?" Neville asked in disbelief, surprised to see his friend especially since she had pointed ears. "You're an elf?"
"Only half the time," Luna replied cheerfully.
"Barely escaped?" Hermione asked as she turned to look at Neville.
"His shirt's on backwards and his face is tomato red," Sirius replied with a grin, only lying about the first part.
"Liar," Neville replied, knowing that his shirt was on the right way because he'd already fixed it after he escaped the temple. "When did you get here?" he asked Luna, trying to change the subject.
"I've always been here," Luna replied with a smile. "I'm Luna Lovegrove, Luna Lovegood is my other half."
"When she's dreaming back home, she's awake here and when she's asleep here, she's awake there," Hermione offered.
"That would explain things," Neville mused.
"What?" Hermione asked, surprised that he wasn't more surprised.
"Her father owns the Quibbler, he's run a bunch of stories about creatures that probably don't exist in the wizarding world, the book on plant magic mentioned some of her creatures because they're drawn to certain types of magic."
"Just because the creatures don't exist on Earth doesn't mean they're fictional," Luna replied cheerfully.
"Fair," Hermione admitted, making a mental note to read up on the local wildlife.
"What are you guys working on?" Neville asked, trying to avoid a discussion about the crazy women in the temple, if only because gentlemen didn't kiss and tell.
"Brooms," Luna said cheerfully. "I figured out how to enchant them but I can't get the flight property to work right so Sirius and Tonks are charming brooms so Harry can swap the broken flight properties with the flight property that actually works. We're also trying to figure out the best way to enchant a hoverboard."
"Hover-board?" Neville asked.
"It's basically a board that floats over the ground that you can ride on, sort of like a skateboard without wheels," Hermione explained.
"I know what those are, I nearly got run over by one in the park last year," Neville admitted. "Why not just use a broom?"
"I wouldn't need the charmed brooms or Harry's help to swap all of the qualities," Luna explained as a portal opened in front of the shop.
"Speak of the devil," Sirius said when Harry walked out of the portal carrying a wooden crate and wearing a cowboy hat.
"Does that mean you don't want presents?" Harry asked as he walked over.
"Presents are good," Tonks agreed as she stood up and walked around the table so she could look in the box.
"What type of presents?" Hermione asked as Harry set the box on the other table.
"Boots and magical cowboy hats that prevent sunburn," Harry replied as he pulled half a dozen pairs of snakeskin boots out of the crate, each of which was a different color and type. "I also managed to fix three of the rings."
"Nice, what did you end up with?" Sirius asked.
Harry pulled the three rings out of his inventory and used his Appraisal on them so he could just read the information off the descriptions. "Ring of Heritage: It makes you immune to disease, poison and sunburn. I figured the sunburn immunity was better than having a pregnancy reduction time that doesn't stack with the other ring."
"Good call," Tonks offered.
"Having children while wearing the Heritage ring gives the children immunity to disease and poison and increased durability, magic and intelligence. No chances of failure, they're just better than they would have been and it should pass down to their descendants."
"If we ever make it back, never tell anyone you have that," Sirius warned him.
"I wasn't planning on it," Harry assured him. "The Silver Ring reduces the time pregnancy takes to a tenth of the normal time at the risk of mutating the children seventy percent of the time, giving them one to six mutations. Each mutation gives them a thirty percent chance to have a force field while naked, a twenty seven percent chance to increase their intelligence, a ten percent chance to have supernatural speed, a one percent chance to have larger 'equipment' that I couldn't get rid of, a fourteen percent chance to have more magic, a thirteen percent chance to have better senses, a five percent chance to have increased stamina and a three percent chance to increase their lust a bit."
"Are we talking lunatic level or Sirius level for that last one?" Tonks asked.
"Shouldn't be horrible, it doesn't stack and I was just running out of useful qualities unless you want your children to look like genies with smoke for legs?" Harry asked.
"Can they fly?" Luna asked thoughtfully.
"I wouldn't have mentioned it if they couldn't," Harry replied, not seeing a point in mentioning the large collection of negative traits that he'd shuffled between the rings to get rid of them.
"It might be worth swapping in at some point," Luna mused.
"I wasn't going to toss it," Harry assured her. "The third ring speeds up the growth of your children until they quickly reach about four years of development and gives them some life skills and a basic language primer and an increased ability with a random weapon and an increased ability with magic but it causes two to six mutations."
"Anything horrible?" Tonks asked.
"No, I ditched the crap," Harry assured her. "The most suspect bit is the ten percent chance to end up with gemstone like fingernails but we can always swap that out when we get back home."
"Probably a good idea," Sirius admitted.
"Every trait has a ten percent chance but it can come up multiple times. Basically, there's a chance for them to end up supernaturally durable while naked, have increased magic and strength or increased speed while naked."
"At least with them quickly growing to four, we won't have to worry about diapers for more than a couple of days," Tonks pointed out.
"Just as well," Sirius agreed. "What else can they get?"
"They can get a Shadow Meld ability that gets less effective the more of their body that is covered but it lets them sort of hide in shadows supernaturally well. They can also get enhanced endurance, a general boost to speed and increased strength and senses."
"Could be worse," Hermione mused, not really seeing a problem with any of the abilities other than the increased lust and that wasn't a huge deal if it didn't stack to dangerous levels, especially since the entire culture would be focused on rebuilding the population for at least a couple of generations.
"I would have grabbed the quality that caused the children to quickly grow to fourteen but it was tied to them picking up cultist training and I didn't really want to deal with a bunch of elven cultists," Harry admitted.
"We could probably obliviate them," Sirius mused.
Tonks shook her head. "Keep it for a rainy day, we might find something that fixes it or you might figure out a way to fix it once you've had a bit more practice with your ability."
"It's worth a try," Harry admitted. "With the bracers and our perks, we're looking at being able to give people between two and eighteen children and the pregnancy should only take a couple of weeks rather than nine months and change. Plus, no complications means it's safe."
"Great, that means you can knock me up," Luna said cheerfully.
"What?!" Harry sputtered out when his brain caught up with what she'd said.
"You're my friend and I'm going to do my part to rebuild the elven race, unless you don't want to make me a happy girl?" Luna asked with a pout.
"You're fourteen," Hermione pointed out.
"And my entire race is dying," Luna replied with a sigh. "No complications, means no lost growth or any of the other reasons that you normally avoid having children early."
"I'd need parental consent," Harry told her, trying to be responsible.
"You have it," Fianna called out as she walked out of the shop. "Provided you knock me up at the same time."
"Same bed or…" Sirius trailed off as Tonks reached over and smacked Sirius on the arm.
"It was a valid question," Sirius argued.
Fianna laughed. "I'm not picky but I was thinking the same day would be fine."
"And you want…" Harry trailed off, not sure how to deal with one of his friends wanting him to knock up her mother. 'At least she's hot.'
"Want you to knock my mother up? Absolutely, that means that our children will be able to have children with the other bloodlines which should give them a lot of choices," Luna said, knowing that Kara wanted to have Hermione's children which would be perfect.
