Copy Protection Void Part 16
Added 2024-08-31 06:48:30 +0000 UTCAn: Yeah... the chapter is a bit longer than normal but there wasn't a good break point and it lets me warn people that if talking about the crazy experiment makes you uncomfortable... you might want to be prepared to skim once they start) Nothing is overly graphic but the mc isn't in a good head space and he's looking for advantages that someone that isn't risking getting stuck in a never ending cycle of hell probably wouldn't consider. (to be fair to him, he doesn't have all the details on the magic items he's testing, thus the testing.)

"I need a watch," Mist grumbled as he tossed the spork shaped wand he'd just conjured into the box with the rest of the rejects, not interested in a wand that conjured chunks of hot and rancid spam. 'This would be a lot easier if I had any control over the wands that I conjure,' he complained, fairly sure the spork was a new low. "Screw it, I need a break."
Mist cast his spell to summon a naughty transmogrification specialist, causing a naked teenage girl with wet shoulder length blue hair to appear out of thin air looking like she'd just stepped out of a shower.
"Damn it!" Vanessa cursed as the wind picked up, making her wish that she'd splurged on a ring of cold protection like her sister suggested or that she'd waited to grab her shower.
"Sorry?" Mist offered as the girl hugged herself. "Should I look away?"
"No, I'm just cold," Vanessa replied, not worried about her new client seeing her naked.
Mist quickly conjured a blue loincloth and handed it to her. "It has a comfort enchantment."
Vanessa cast an identification spell on the loincloth, nearly dropping it in shock when she realized that it could permanently increase the wearer's mana if they were willing to hunt cultists or some type of shadow monster. 'At least he wasn't lying about the comfort enchantment,' she mused as she quickly put the loincloth on. "Thank you!" she told him excitedly as she went from freezing to perfectly comfortable. 'If I can borrow this and find some cultists or shadow creatures? Yeah, there's no way he's going to let me just borrow an artifact.'
"You're welcome, I wasn't expecting you to appear naked or I would have summoned you somewhere warmer," Mist admitted as he conjured a pair of boots and handed them to her.
"Don't worry about it, I wasn't expecting to get summoned less than an hour after submitting the paperwork," Vanessa admitted, trying and failing to keep the excitement out of her voice, happy that she hadn't had to wait around for months for a summoner.
"How long does it usually take?" Mist asked.
"Anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months if you don't make a deal with a placement company and don't have any otherworldly contacts," Vanessa admitted. "They generally have lists of clients in different worlds that need help transmogrifying gear and equipment and they'll hook you up for a cut of your tips."
"How much of a cut and tips?" Mist asked, curious how corrupt the various companies were.
"The cut depends on the company, most of them charge at least fifty percent for short term work, if they don't, there's probably something wrong with the contract. Not getting paid for transmogrifying items is part of the sacrifice that pays for the summoning network that lets us visit new realms. Tips on the other hand are completely voluntary and appreciated."
"I'm sure we can come up with something that will keep you happy," Mist assured her, not seeing a problem with giving her generous tips if she was cheerful and helpful. "I have a vague idea what transmogrification involves because of the spell but I don't know the details, can you give me a summary?"
"Sure," Vanessa replied with a smile. "Transmogrification is technically the art of changing something into something else but we basically just swap the appearance of weapons and gear so that you don't look like a fashion victim because most of the dungeons I've seen drop some really ugly loot. It's mostly just a cosmetic thing but the damage of weapons can change a little bit if the resulting shape is better or worse than the original shape."
"Does scanning the objects destroy them?" Mist asked, wanting to make sure.
"No, it just takes a couple of seconds and mana, which is a bit of a problem because I'm only an apprentice," Vanessa admitted.
"Do you want a hat that increases mana regeneration?" Mist asked as he conjured a black tophat with a blue ribbon.
"That would be fantastic," Vanessa replied with a smile when she cast her identification spell and checked the hat he'd just produced. "Do you have an inventory and a bunch of hats?"
Mist smiled as he tossed her the hat. "No, I just have a list of things I can conjure."
'Huh, I guess this is what the teachers meant by some realms having wildly different magic styles,' Vanessa mused as she put the hat on. "My name is Vanessa Starfire, freelance transmogrification apprentice. I think we're going to get along great as long as you can ignore the fact that I don't have a lot of starting patterns and might occasionally show up naked."
"I'll survive," Mist replied with a grin as he reached down and grabbed a wooden rod with a brass dragon claw holding a crystal orb on one end and a brass cap on the other from the pile of wands he'd conjured and handed it to her. "Can you scan this?"
"Sure, it's a nice wand design," Vanessa replied then cast her scanning spell, instantly adding a copy of the pattern to her list of transmogrification options. "What do you need me to transmogrify?"
"Nothing yet. The spell I have that conjures wands is a bit random and suspect, it would be nice to be able to control the appearance," Mist replied as he watched Vanessa's magic fade from the wand. 'At least the scanning magic doesn't seem to be harmful.'
"Ooh!" Vanessa squealed when she noticed the tentacle wand that was wiggling. "Can I scan the tentacle wand?"
"Go for it," Mist replied with a grin. "How many items can you scan before you need to recharge?"
"Eight or nine more, less if I have to transmogrify something," Vanessa admitted. "Before you get angry that I'm wasting mana or your time, my mana regenerates pretty fast."
"I'm not complaining, I was just curious," Mist assured her.
"Really?" Vanessa asked in surprise. "Most of my teachers thought I was wasting my time studying magic because I don't have a lot of mana and higher tier spells eat mana like a hungry dragon."
"There's nothing wrong with chasing dreams," Mist told her as Egwene walked back over. "Vanessa, this is Egwene, Egwene, this is Vanessa Starfire, she's a transmogrification apprentice."
"Nice to meet you," Egwene offered as she walked close enough that she didn't have to shout. "What is a transmogrification apprentice?"
"We can alter clothes and weapons so people don't look like they grabbed a collection of clothes or jewelry from a junk shop and got dressed in the dark."
"That should help," Egwene admitted, looking forward to being able to change the look of some of the magical items that Mist could conjure.
Mist cast his wand conjuration again, getting a purple dildo shaped wand that was as long as his arm. "Great…" he trailed off as he checked the stats and realized that the giant dildo was actually useful.
"What does it do?" Egwene asked, a bit disturbed by the wand's appearance and size.
"It's enchanted so that you can't actually physically hurt people with it, which means we could use it to knock people unconscious without actually hurting them. It can also drain life and mana from targets at range. It has horrible accuracy and damage but the other tokens should be able to fix that. It has excellent control and moderate speed but I can probably find a way to fix the speed or increase the damage enough that it doesn't matter."
"Or you could use the token on a sword like a sane person so you'd have a sword that boosts people's ability to train," Egwene teased.
"As long as it counts as a melee weapon and you have a sword I can scan, I could probably transmogrify it into a sword," Vanessa suggested. "Having a training sword that can't actually deal damage and that functions as a wand would give them the best of both worlds."
Mist drew the sword he'd looted from Niall and held it out so that she could scan it. "Go ahead and scan both of them and transmogrify the wand."
Vanessa smiled and cast her scanning spell on the giant dildo, figuring it might be worth a laugh at parties. "This should be amusing." She cast her scanning spell on the sword, picking up an excellent sword pattern. "This is probably going to tap me out for the day."
"That's fine," Mist replied, not all that worried about it since they could always summon her tomorrow.
Vanessa cast her transmogrification spell on the dildo, changing it into a translucent purple sword that promptly went limp and flopped over. "Sorry?"
Mist waved the squishy and floppy sword around a couple of times, finding himself more amused than annoyed by the changes to the wand, especially since the wand still had the same stats according to his glasses. "Don't worry about it, it's a work in progress."
"Are you sure?" Vanessa asked, surprised that he wasn't more upset since it hadn't ended up solid enough to use.
"Yeah, one of the tokens I picked up lets me turn a weapon into crystal. Speaking of the token, do you have any repair spells?" Mist asked hopefully.
"Nothing that works on enchanted items, why?" Vanessa asked.
Mist sighed. "Because the token that turns a weapon into crystal also cripples its durability everytime you kill something with it in exchange for a permanent boost to damage, I was hoping you had a repair spell that worked on magical items."
"Sorry, I don't have the mana for most of the really nice spells or the training," Vanessa admitted.
"We should probably fix that," Mist mused as he turned to look at Egwene. "Are you still planning on hitting another camp of shadowspawn?"
"I was thinking about grabbing Eldrin and Bode when Bode gets back and wrecking one of the shadowspawn camps I saw in my dreams. Can you use a bow?" Egwene asked Vanessa.
"I can hit a target but I've never shot it at a moving target," Vanessa admitted.
"As long as you can shoot it in the general direction, you should be fine," Egwene assured her as she embraced the source and wove a dome of air over the loot to keep animals out. She tied the weave off then let the source go. "That should keep the critters from making a mess, let's head back to the village and see if we can find Bode."
"Works for me," Mist agreed, wanting to grab some food and sort through all of the crap he'd picked up from killing a bunch of whitecloaks.
Egwene used mana to open a gateway back to town, placing the gateway on the wall in her room so that she didn't accidentally hit someone.

Mist tossed the leather vest into the box to be burned as he wasn't interested in using an ugly human leather vest that didn't actually give him any benefits then pulled a scroll out of his bag and checked the description with his glasses. 'This scroll teaches a spell that teleports five willing or captured targets to a shadow arena where they have to fight to the death for power. The survivor gets 2% of the physical attributes of the dead targets. Two percent doesn't seem like a lot but it should add up, especially if we're tossing people in with trollocs.'
Mist opened the scroll, burning the Poison Pit spell into his soul. He grabbed another scroll and checked the description. 'Teaches a spell that permanently gives a target the ability to see through clothes but also summons a powerful demon that will track the target down and rip their flesh off after twenty four hours unless they can kill it. If it only happens once, regeneration should keep them from dying if they can't kill it.'
'Or I could use the spell to kill people,' Mist mused as he opened the scroll, burning the spell into his soul. He turned to look at the door to the inn room when someone knocked. "Yes?"
"Do you have a minute?" Egwene's clone asked.
"Sure," Mist replied as he checked the next scroll. 'Ritual of sacrifice, this spell burns half the flesh off a willing target and permanently increases the target's fire resistance by 5 points. This spell does nothing for the pain and the scarred flesh has to be cut away before it can be regenerated or it won't heal correctly.'
Egwene's clone opened the door, walked in and froze when she saw several boxes filled with leather items next to the room's small desk. "Did you find anything interesting?"
Mist used the scroll, burning the spell into his soul. "A couple of spells, half a dozen leather jackets that have minor magical effects, a schematic for making expanded leather bags and a recipe for roast whitecloak that gives you the ability to summon a white cloak if you eat enough for a meal."
Egwene scowled in disgust. "Roast whitecloak? Is that as bad as it sounds?"
"Probably," Mist agreed. "I doubt they use enough spices and it doesn't say if the cloak has any magical abilities."
The clone shook her head. "Which spells?"
"One of them permanently gives you the ability to see through clothes but summons a powerful monster to rip your flesh off that will track you down after twenty four hours, the Poison Pit spell teleports five targets into a pocket dimension where they fight, the survivor gets 2% of the dead targets' physical attributes and the other one burns half of the flesh off a willing target."
"Willing target? Why would anyone willingly let you burn them?" Egwene's clone asked, thinking back to some of the times Egwene had burned herself helping in the kitchen and how much getting burned hurt.
"It increases your fire resistance to the point where you could stick your hand in a torch and barely feel it. It also stacks so you could repeat the ritual after cutting your scarred flesh off and using the regeneration spell."
She shook her head. "That sounds exceptionally painful."
"I'd want to be really drunk or drugged," Mist admitted. "I don't particularly like pain but I'm willing to drug myself and suffer if it means I can avoid getting burned to ashes the next time I run into one of the forsaken or an asshole decides to try playing with fire."
"I don't think Nynaeve has anything that would stop that level of pain," the clone warned him.
"Probably not but getting drunk should make it survivable," Mist replied as he stood up and stretched, trying to get the kinks out of his back from sitting too long.
"Do you think your Poison Pit spell would work on trollocs?" the clone asked thoughtfully, trying not to think about how badly getting burned over half of her body would feel.
"We'd have to capture them but it just said targets so probably," Mist replied with a shrug. "Considering their natural strength, it's worth a try. Did you manage to increase Vanessa's mana pool?"
"She managed to kill thirty twenty five to thirty trollocs which basically doubled her mana pool, Eldrin got a bit enthusiastic about burning the trollocs and we didn't feel like wandering around the blight looking for more," the clone admitted.
"Makes sense," Mist admitted.
"Egwene said you had a plan for Amico or Sheriam, what are you planning?" the clone asked.
Mist glanced at the door then focused on Egwene's clone and dropped his voice down to barely above a whisper so it wouldn't carry. "I picked up a collar that basically stores your mind and replaces it with the personality of a happy whore with your skills which means we can use the cursed collar to eat the personality changes they'd get from the new stamps I picked up."
"Egwene mentioned the stamps but said I'd have to ask you for the details. What did you get?" the clone asked.
"The nicest one gives you the ability to magically shape wood but you become allergic to bacon. One the shadow stamp gives you the ability to slip into a shadow realm and back whenever you want but it rips your skin off, steals your shadow and your reflection and makes you allergic to garlic when you get it."
"That's worse than the ritual but getting the stamp while you're blind drunk and after you've used the one that leaves you with horrible scars might work, at least it would save us from having to cut your damaged skin off," the clone mused. "Do you have any idea how we could get our shadow or reflection back?"
"Not really," Mist admitted. "Which is probably why I'd ask a clone to test it then use the dragon crown to spread the ability to slip into the shadow realm around the village. The last stamp is the most problematic, it gives the ability to see magic and fly without wings but it comes with some nasty negatives. We could stamp someone and they'd probably be fine with flight and magic sight if we bound them in place for a week but I'm hoping that we can use the cursed collar to mitigate the personality changes so we can pick up cold immunity and let people boost their maximum power without going insane."
"Quit dancing around and spit it out," the clone ordered.
"It drops your inhibitions against eating human flesh and if you actually eat human flesh during the week the stamp is on your skin that it needs to make the flight and ability to see magic permanent, you'll transform into a ravenous beast that has an unending hunger, immunity to cold, the ability to eat just about anything without getting full and the strength to rip a trolloc in half with their bare hands. If you eat flesh from a channeler, you'll lose all restraint and your potential power and your talent with weather will increase."
"So you're basically testing to see if you can cause the replacement personality to go insane while leaving the original sane enough to use the dragon crown to give the abilities to their family?" the clone asked.
"I'm hoping the bunny ears would change the test subject back to human so they're not a rampaging monster but that's why I'm planning on testing the process on the black ajah first," Mist explained, not particularly happy about his plan but willing to be the asshole if it meant the villagers were safer.
"Where are you going to get channeler meat?" the clone asked warily.
"One of the other fucked up magical items I picked up the ability to conjure is a cursed belt that basically causes the wearer's breasts to quickly enlarge to the point where they explode, spraying the area with thousands of magical seeds that can be eaten to increase a person's lifespan by a year per seed or planted to grow magical fruit trees that can grow an entire harvest in minutes if you feed them enough mana."
"I'm starting to think that death might have been the nicer option," the clone admitted.
"Probably," Mist agreed. "Joking aside, we're increasing their lifespan and giving them a chance to balance the scales by being useful. Besides, regeneration should put them back to perfect health and the rabbit ears should give them a normal human shape which we're probably going to have to do anyway if they want the ability to leave without worrying about an Aes Sedai recognizing them. Even if we only run them through the process a couple of times, we're going to need the food once everything starts rotting."
'I'd love the ability to fly and being able to see magic without the glasses would be nice.' The clone sighed, wondering if she was insane for being curious if his idea would work. "What do you need?"
Mist shrugged. "I'd love a portal to one of the empty steddings so they can't kill me with magic when they go insane and a box of air to contain the seeds."
"I'm going to want half of the seeds," the clone told him, wanting to have enough seeds to boost herself, her family and friends a reasonable amount.
"Sure," Mist replied, not seeing a problem with giving her half the seeds for her help since it would make everything easier.
"Let's go before I change my mind," the clone told him then turned and headed into the hallway, fairly sure something was going to go drastically wrong.

"On the off chance that I actually survive your experiment, can I have my own tent?" Amico asked once Mist finished explaining the basics of their experiment that might result in her getting more power, tired of putting up with Sheriam's whining about the black loincloths they'd been ordered to wear.
"Not a problem," Mist replied as he handed the dark haired woman the cursed collar, not seeing a problem with giving Amico her own tent if she survived with her sanity intact.
"You're insane," Sheriam told Amico as she glared at Mist. "They're just going to kill you if the experiment works."
"We're bound to follow orders, if they wanted us dead, we'd be dead," Amico replied then put the collar on.
Mist watched as a dozen ethereal chains dragged a spectral copy of Amico's face into the blood red gem set into the collar. 'Yeah, that's not creepy,' he thought sarcastically as a wave of magic washed over Amico's head, causing her to blink a couple of times then smile cheerfully as her entire posture relaxed and changed.
"Hello, I'm Candy, do you want to fuck?" Candy asked hopefully, causing Sheriam to stare at her in horror.
"Maybe later," Mist lied, not interested in having sex with Amico or her body while she wasn't in it.
"Okay." Candy glanced at Sheriam. "Do you want to fuck?"
"What is wrong with you?!" Sheriam demanded.
"Nothing, I'm a happy whore and you look stressed, I bet you'd be less stressed if I fucked you like a red headed stepchild," Candy offered cheerfully.
"I'm not interested," Sheriam told her as she backed away a step, rather horrified by the changes that the ter'angreal had caused to her associate.
"Would you like more magic?" Mist asked Candy.
"Will having more magic let me make more money fucking people?" Candy asked hopefully, a bit sad that no one was interested in having a good time.
"It should," Mist assured her, suddenly feeling a bit worse about his plan since he was basically planning on causing an 'innocent', if temporary, personality to go insane rather than someone that arguably deserved it. 'So much for keeping the moral high ground.'
"What do I need to do?" Candy asked.
"You just need to follow me to the other tent," Mist told her then focused on Sheriam. "Stay here and try to relax." He turned and left the tent with Candy following him, not interested in arguing with Sheriam.
Sheriam watched Amico and Mist leave, unable to control her rising panic as her mind conjured one horrible scenario after another about what they were going to do to her when she got back.
Candy smiled at the girl that was waiting for them outside of the tent. "Do you want to fuck? My rates are quite reasonable."
"Maybe later," Egwene's clone replied as she used mana to open a gateway to the nearest empty stedding in the mountains, not really in the mood and not willing to have sex with a stranger.
"Let's go," Mist told Candy and walked through the gateway.
"This would make it easier to travel," Candy mused as she walked through the gateway, wishing she could see the weave so she could copy it.
The clone followed Candy through the gateway into the stedding then let the gateway close.
"I'll pay you a gold to let me put a couple of stamps on your ass, is that fair?" Mist asked Candy.
"For a gold you can beat my ass like a pinata," Cindy replied cheerfully as she glanced around the stedding, causing Egwene to frown at the unfamiliar word.
Mist pulled his collection of stamps out of his belt pouch and stamped Candy's bare butt three times with the healing stamp, curious how much it would push the woman's healing talent since she'd been part of the yellow ajah before swapping to black. He stamped her behind with the tree of life stamp that gave her the ability to magically shape wood then poked her leg to pick up the new pattern, wanting the ability to create a happy healer with all of Amico's skills. 'You're not even close to being as talented as Nynaeve but no one is going to care if I make a bunch of copies.'
"Okay, so there's a bit of risk with the next stamp. We should be able to fix all of the changes and the damage but you're going to feel hungry then we're going to give you a cursed belt that will cause your breasts to explode with magic and you'll get more power and be able to live for centuries," Mist explained, hoping that he could fix the worst of the changes with the bunny ears and by taking the collar off.
Candy considered the risks against the chance to get more power and shook her head. "That's going to cost at least fifty gold."
"Deal," Mist replied as he summoned his coin purse and started counting the coins into a bag that he pulled out of his belt pouch.
'Is she that trusting or is she just weighing the odds?' the clone mused as she turned her attention toward constructing the box of air that Mist wanted, relieved that she didn't have any problems using mana in a stedding as it gave her an edge against most channelers.
Mist finished counting out fifty one gold then handed the bag to her. "Ready?"
"Ready," Candy replied with a smile as she set the heavy bag on the ground since she didn't need to hold it.
Mist used the Windigo stamp on Candy's forehead and took a step back.
"Ooh, you're glowing," Candy said happily as she glanced between Mist and the clone, rather amused that they were glowing with sparkling colors. "Do you have a sandwich, I'm sort of hungry?"
"In a minute," Mist replied as he cast his regeneration spell on her. He conjured a cursed belt and handed it to her. "Go ahead and put that on then face the box, this is probably going to hurt but you'll get a couple of centuries out of it."
"No worries," Candy assured him then put the belt on and stared down at her breasts as they quickly started growing in size, going from a B-cup at best to a solid C then D and DD over the next couple of seconds as she watched. "They're like balloons."
Mist felt more than a bit uneasy as Candy's breasts expanded, first to the size of melons then to the size of actual watermelons. He winced when her breasts exploded sending a mess of tissue, blood and glowing crystal seeds into the box and causing Candy to scream in agony and shock.
"Light!" Egwene's clone cursed as she stared at the thousands of glowing crystal seeds scattered in her box, surprised that they'd gotten that many seeds.
Candy quickly pulled the belt off when her breasts started to regenerate, not wanting a repeat of the extremely painful process. "That fucking hurt!" she complained as she watched her chest regenerate, glad that her breasts had exploded away from her.
"I warned you," Mist told her, not quite sure how to pull off the next step of the experiment or if they should just cancel it and figure something else out.
"Not enough," Candy argued and absently tossed a bit of flesh on her loincloth into her mouth, curious how she'd taste.
Mist jumped back when Candy started glowing and lunged at him with a wild and insane look on her face.
Egwene caught Candy with flows of air and lifted her off the ground so that she didn't have any leverage then took the collar off with another thread of mana when she started moving anyway thanks to her flight.
Amico blinked a couple of times and looked around when she found herself in a stedding. "What happened?"
Mist took a couple of seconds to get his heart rate under control, not happy about how close to death he'd come because he'd gotten distracted. "How do you feel?"
"A bit hungry…" Amico trailed off as she looked down and noticed that her breasts were larger than they should be. "What happened to my breasts?"
"Part of the experiment," Mist replied, a touch surprised that her breasts had shrunk back down to a generous C or maybe a D-cup. "Speaking of experiments, do you want fire resistance?"
"What's the catch?" Amico asked, wondering why she was tied up with glowing bindings and how someone had channeled in a stedding.
"It's going to hurt like jumping in a pool of burning acid then we're going to do something that is going to rip your skin off so that you'll be able to step into a shadow realm, assuming you want the extra power," Mist told her.
"I'm not weak, I want power," Amico told them, willing to torture herself for power if it meant she'd never have to be afraid again.
Mist cast his new spell on Amico that should burn half her skin off and give her five points of fire resistance.
Amico stared at the strange floating card in front of her. "There's a glowing card asking if I want to burn for fire resistance."
"Is there a yes or no option?" Mist asked, curious if that was how the spell handed the consent part of the sacrifice.
"Yes-" Amico screamed in agony as the spell activated and pain like she'd never felt washed over her, causing her to thrash against the threads of air holding her up.
"Really, really drunk," Mist muttered as he cast his regeneration spell on Amico, knowing she'd need it for the next part and hoping it would stop the screaming. 'Better than using it on Candy,' he told himself, glad that he hadn't used it on Candy since Amico's face was burned badly enough that he could see her skull in several places.
Egwene forced herself to look at the darkfriend that they'd burned. 'You'd have to be insane to use that.'
Mist walked over and stamped Amico with the shadow walking stamp, causing her skin to get ripped off and turn to dust at the same time her shadow was yanked back to her feet before vanishing completely.
"Can you do that while we're unconscious?" the clone asked as she twisted the box she'd make out of mana so that the crystal seeds slid into a pile in the middle. "I don't really want to have to remember having my skin ripped off if I can help it."
"Probably a good idea," Mist replied as he watched Amico's skin regrow thanks to his spell. "At least we know that she's not completely insane."
"You should make a copy of Candy so we can have her test the crown," the clone suggested as she lifted the mana box and changed it into a large funnel with a cover over the bottom of the funnel. She pulled a leather bag out of her belt pouch and held it under the funnel then opened a hole and started filling her bag, wanting to wash and check the seeds before eating them.
Mist waited until the rest of Amico's skin regenerated, opened his cloning menu and created a clone of Candy. "How are you doing?"
"Why do I have a bald duplicate?" Candy asked when she noticed the woman that looked like the person in the mirror if someone had shaved her head.
"She's your evil twin," Mist told her.
"Do you think she wants to fuck?" Candy asked thoughtfully.
"Probably, but we'll have to wait until she wakes up to ask," Mist replied, thinking about the dragon crown and fairly sure that Amico wouldn't have an objection to fucking herself for power.

To be fair, it's hard to pass up enhanced strength on that level and cold immunity... so if you can get it working, you sort of have to try.
