CSA 25 - Synthesis Skill Was Dangerous

I went back to my home with Teleport, put my daily necessities from Storage into the kitchen and bathroom, and threw myself down on my bed.

Now that I've met all my needs, including food, clothing, and shelter, I'm thinking about what to do next.

“Should I try going on a little adventure? I do want to make out with a girl. I also want to eat lots of delicious food. Traveling around the world... is too troublesome. Maybe I can just keep being a hikikomori like this...”

It wouldn't be so bad to spend the rest of my life lazing around in bed, huh?
But I really don't want to be fat.
Even if I'm skinny now, if I do nothing but eat and sleep, I'll definitely become fat. I have to exercise.

The protagonists of the isekai stories I saw in my previous life each had their own adventures as they aim for big goals, but in this world where I was reincarnated, there are no demon lords or evil gods.
There are no evil masterminds or my parents' enemies, in the first place, I have no parents at all.
There are people I want to take revenge on (the bullies at the orphanage), but I won't go there to meet them.
I only wanted to beat them up if I happened to see them on the street. I don't hate them so much that I want to kill them.
It seems like dragons exist, but I only want to see them if they were kept in a zoo, so I wouldn't risk going to see one.

Looking for goals, looking for dreams for the future, looking for what I really want to do, how do I do that?

Wealth. Fame. Power. Do I want to obtain everything in this world?
No. I don't want that much.

A warm meal, a warm bath, a warm bed.

...I've come to feel that being a hikikomori is the happiest thing ever.

What do I do when I’m being a hikikomori? Of course it’s researching my Skills.
I feel like I can play for 100 years with just my Synthesis Skill after all.

“Synthesizing nice weed with nice weed... it becomes a really nice weed. Fumu fumu.”

Since it came to this, I decided to train my Appraisal Skill thoroughly from level 1.
I have as much time as I like. I think I will work hard to raise its level patiently.

“Synthesizing a really nice weed with a really nice weed... a very nice weed. Hohou.”

When I took a look at it with my appraisal sunglasses, it turned out that the weed was actually a medicinal herb that could improve my health.

“Synthesizing very nice weed with very nice weed... A greatly nice weed. Synthesizing greatly nice weed with greatly nice weed... An extremely nice weed. Synthesizing extremely nice weed with extremely nice weed... An exceedingly good weed. Synthesizing exceedingly good weed with exceedingly good weed... the supreme weed. Synthesizing supreme weed with supreme weed... the supreme weed. Hm?”

When I looked at the supreme weed with appraisal sunglasses, it was displayed as the leaf of the world tree.

“Leaf of World Tree... it revives the dead and cures all diseases, is it? That's dangerous...”

I liquify the leaf of World Tree with Alchemy Skill and synthesize it into myself.
I got Resurrection Skill and Cure-All Healing Skill. Dangerous!

The Resurrection Skill can be used on anyone other than myself as long as they have not turned into a skeleton, and the  Cure-All Healing Skill can be used even on myself, it seems to be able to cure any illness.
Of course from level 1.
The cost of using a perfected Skill is terrifying after all.
At level 1, there seems to be a restriction that it can only be used immediately after death or until the third day after the onset of illness, but it can be used at no risk, so there is no problem.

“Synthesis Skill is dangerous! Let’s do more!”

If I raise my Synthesis Skill level even further, I might be able to create something even greater than the leaf of World Tree.
Even if I create something like that, I won’t be able to use it, but it can satisfy my intellectual curiosity.

When I examined it with appraisal sunglasses, it was displayed as adamantite.
I could have used this to make a sword or armor, but since I have no plan on fighting monsters, I used Alchemy Skill and made it into an all-purpose knife. This will make my cooking progress.

“I ended up obtaining legendary items while staying at home... I'm terrified, no I’m terrifying...!”

That said, I’m bored, so I'll keep making them though.

“This time, should I synthesize in a bad direction?”

I use Compounding Skill on weeds to leave only the ingredients that are harmful to the body, and synthesize them in the same way as before, weed that is seems bad for the body, weed that is bad for the body, weed that is poisonous to the body, poisonous weed, extremely poisonous weed, and weed that results in death, instant death weed, death god weed, and already I have created something dangerous that you should refrain from touching with your bare hands.

When I examined it with my appraisal sunglasses, it was displayed as “Death.” Truly the god of death.
It seems that any living thing that eats it instantly dies. Scary.
It'd be dangerous if I accidentally ate it, so I used my Alchemy Skill and synthesized it into a ring.
Ring of death. If you equip it, you will die. Hmm, this is no good.

“If you equip it, you will die... die? I see! Resurrection of the dead!”

I made a leaf of the world tree and synthesized its effect of resurrecting the dead into the ring.

“Ring of life and death. The effect cannot be appraised...”

Since I couldn't appraise it with my Appraisal level 20 sunglasses, I thought it would be a waste to just throw away the mastered appraisal skill that I had, so I synthesized it into a ring and kept it, so I equipped that and appraised it again.

“The effect is... the superposition of life and death. The person who equipped it will no longer be observed by the world.”

I don't know what it means, but I think it's probably going to turn me into the state of a certain cat somewhere.
Let's try equipping it a bit.
