BOOK 2/57 - TIER 1

-

Hilde had sensed the figure outside the range she chose for utilizing AUM. Making sure the skill hadn't extended to it simply for questioning and mostly due to the higher energy it exuded.

Her thumb met her middle finger. Her imagination going to work. The system chimed in a new notification which she ignored and then she snapped her fingers.

The vibration swept through the air like nothing she knew. She watched the particles follow the directives of her will. Slowly grabbing and ripping at skin, muscles, and organs. Inside and out all of the Om followed the directive.

It was shocking.

In a snap, she had ended so much life. In just less than a second.

"This skill is overpowered," she frowned as she realized that she couldn't let the other creator gods have this. Who knew what could happen if this was in the wrong person's hands? Hildelith wondered if she was even the right person.

'Destruction most likely '. Akasha's voice also made her jump.

'Geez, where have you been?. You've been silent since I got dropped in here'.

'Suppression'.

She paused. It did make sense. Hildelith said nothing though, after all she'd not even tried using magic.

'So, a skill that affects all of creation'. Akasha commented. 'All you need to do is find another universe and snap. BOOM! Gone.'

"It won't be easy to encapsulate a universe in my will so completely.”

'But it is something doable'.

The more she thought of it, the more she felt she understood why the first quest had been so important. Gaining Divine Purity as an insight was game-breaking, even if she hadn't known. No, she had known at the time but was not aware it would lead to something so dangerous.

"The description was a good warning though" Akasha pointed out.

Shaking her head, Hildelith brought her focus to the last entity left.

It seemed she didn't even have to do much, as the being suddenly offered up a slave contract. But Hildelith didn't like the idea. While in-game slave contracts were full-proof, it came with a backlash. She didn't want to be seen as such a person and it didn't sit well with her either way.

Luckily, the girl she watched from atop the cliff miles away seemed to really wish to live.

It brought a sort of respect for Bali in her. But thinking about it, the devil was millennials old if his words were anything to go by. Compared to this girl, he was on a whole other level.

"Yet he was a level 35 entity," the wrongness of it suddenly hit her.

"I'll accept this new request if you answer something for me". The Devilless was quick to nod.

"Auzule Bali, the Harbinger. What is his true level?"

*****

The name made Arayat scream internally with terror. ‘Did she have to ask that of all questions?’ She was beginning to reconsider the idea of living at the moment.

'No, death is worse. Wait, which is?. If I answer, Auzule will hunt me to the end of time. If I don't, she'll end me and who knows if she has ways to torment my soul.' Arayat, unaware of what or who the being was, didn't want to take chances.

"My lady, if this one may be so bold. Why ask of the Son of Ozdane?".

The silence stretched for a while, making Arayat wonder if she had bitten off more than she could chew before a sigh escaped from the being.

"Killed him. But meeting you now, I feel like I got played." there was something the being wasn't saying but it didn't matter to Arayat.

[Lie affinity] was a skill that could be used in many ways even escaping death. But only the very powerful could use it effectively. She at her stage could barely use it, which was why she was here groveling. Plus, who knew if Lie affinity could escape whatever the being had used here?

Frowning, she sighed. That Bali had used Lie affinity in such a way meant that even he, a Son of the Sixth Devil of the Nether, had been defeated enough for him to flee.

"None know the true level of the great ones or their progeny. But I know none are below level 100"

The lady sighed before Arayat felt something both exciting and disturbing. Disturbing since she suddenly lost all connection to the Nether realm she was in. Worse was that she could feel something fundamental about her had changed.

Before she could find what, the delighted voice of her new master spoke.

"Now let's go."

Arayat could barely speak before light flashed in her eyes and the ground beneath her disappeared. 'At least I'm alive. Thank the Devils for that treasure I found.'

Her mind went to the Life Contract she had gotten just a few days back. Something she had deemed to use on one worthy of serving her. Funnily enough, she wound up using it on herself.

*****

Hildelith sighed as what she suspected seemed to be true. She found it unlikely that Bali was some cliche banished weak prince that she stumbled upon and just killed. If Arayat was right about them being above level 100, it meant that somehow Bali had managed to reduce his level.

Her mind went to the Silver Reflection skill.

If she was correct, and that was 30% of his ability then, she shuddered. Hopefully, she would be stronger before they met again. Remembering the desire he had to end her in his gaze, she could only be determined to get stronger.

'This game gets more enthralling with each character and NPC I meet. Speaking of. Best to get this advantage, I smell a reward and I could use her to learn all about devils before meeting Bali again.'. Nodding, she pulled up the new contract.

'Really bold and dangerous. I wonder how the game will initiate this'. Akasha added.

[LIFE TRADE ]
Accept an entity from an outside universe. Enemy entities can be tagged with the Outsider Mark. Bonded to the Creator for their continual existence. This Mark is even more efficient than a slave mark but lacks all of the negative flairs of slavery.

'Looks good. Accept.' Akasha urged. Hildelith didn't hesitate either tapping accept.

Excited at this she quickly decided to leave and calmly digest all these rewards. The system chose that moment to bring up the former question only this time it had one choice.

[Transporting to World Forge]

'World forge?'

"What does this have.." her confusion was cut off by a blinding white light.

A few seconds later, she stood in the World Forge. It was as grand as she remembered. The pillars, the crystal grounds, and the unnoticeable ceiling. It felt nostalgic.

She turned, spotting something. Her world, Vaustaris, floating as a tiny ball above a crystal. to its right floated its suns and the Glacial it had.

"Amazing." I hummed. The orb of my planet flickered as my will brushed up against it. A list appeared showing things from each racial population, power level, kingdom, or lack of. Civilization level, technological level, and whatnot.

My finger stretched out to touch the planet when a force drew me away and into the side. There I was pushed to my butt and forced into a lotus style.

"You're here to consolidate. Not fawn over a ball of life that exists in your universe" Cole appeared, looking disapproving while his finger flicked her forehead.

"Ouch" Hilde rubbed the spot, frowning before pausing. Her eyes went round as saucers as she looked up at the boy. Following him with her eyes as he sat opposite her in the same lotus style.

"Now let's begin. I believe you have a lot to check and earn. You did well figuring out your divine purity on your own." he commended in a sage-like way that Hilde noticed he was forcing.

His too-serious, old man face kept twitching as he sat there.

"It was equally awesome seeing you killing those poor cockroaches like a superwoman." His eyes gleamed a bit.

"That was honestly the first thing I tried figuring out back then, shooting beams from my eyes," he sighed before looking back to her.

'Boys' she thought, holding back from shaking her head.

"Now. First thing, go through your notifications and start arranging things. I'll be waiting." his eyes shut after that his face twitching some more.

Sighing, Hilde just decided to do as he said. The notifications were numerous. Too long to read.

'If I could just get them grouped under general and have it all shortened instead of seeing the same thing again and again.' The system was quick to adapt and rearrange again.

Hilde, confused at the different term, couldn't help but frown. Where was her level up option? Sighing, she decided to tap stabilize. 'The system did say you were brought here to stabilize'.

Hilde huffed at the thought while prodding stabilize.

[TEMPERING BODY]

A gust of energy flooded her insides. But it was different from when Divine energy filled her cells. Hildelith was certain that the energy was destructive firstly, and secondly, the energy wasn't actually in her body. She could feel it, but it wasn't actually her body getting stabilized.

Slowly, she pulled her will into her body to gain another perspective. Yet there was nothing to see. Scowling, she sighed and exited as the stabilizing continued.

Yet when she looked around, she noted something she had missed. The crystals she sat on were now dark and each one releasing black fumes that her body quickly absorbed.

"Is that..."

"Primordial Chaos". Cole's voice interrupted her. Looking back, she could see him watching her. His eyes scanning her body.

Yet Hilde found that while she should normally feel disgusted or bothered, she didn't. The light glint of his eyes made her realize he was looking at something else.

'Can he see the process?'She pondered before looking back to the crystals.

"Crystals that release Primordial Chaos," she commented.

"Get ready!" the warning came suddenly and she was barely prepared right before pain swept through her body.

[UNIVERSE - TOPELKANUR]

Two females sparred in a meadow. One, a younger lady with raven black hair and Hispanic features. Her brown eyes darted from side to side as blades clashed. The other female, a teenager rolled back away from the slash of the Hispanic one. Her pointed ears perked up as she heard the sound of the fallen dry grasses crunching under her feet.

Her legs hit the ground right as her left palm waved up beckoning on the green to answer her. Treants shot out the floor ready to block the first female.

The left eye of the Hispanic glowed purple like a star. Her sword flashed out and up like a blur.

"Purple Rites: Endtime"

The blade left a mirage of swords that diced up the Treants leaving nothing but smoldering purple flames. Flames that spread out, blown by a surprising wind. The purple fire encompassed the elven girl who shrieked.

While the flame didn't burn, it did sting and confuse, giving the Hispanic the time to utilize the second phase of the skill.

Her right eye turned red as the purple flame imploded on itself, creating a temporal space and pulling her through it making her appear right before the elven female just as the spot she had been previously standing exploded in fiery red flame with several purple hues within it.

The Elven girl, no matter how many times she had seen and been put on the receiving end of this move, had been unable to find a means to counter it, since it always happened within five seconds. If she could pinpoint the spot where the implosion would happen then setting a Green trap would fell her adversary. But the stinging effect of the purple flames was designed for this very reason.

Her back hit the ground as she got swept off her feet, finding the point of the blade in front of her.

"Ouch, mother" The girl whined. But the Hispanic was unfocused, looking elsewhere. The Elven girl frowned. She knew her mother was interacting with her system.

The Hispanic was troubled, she didn't and couldn't understand how it could be so different for her. She'd played the game just as everyone else. Created her administrators, had to wait to build a place, and then face a Void entity before she managed to unlock a reward that gifted her a piece of void parchment.

Yet here she was , lagging. She was friends with some of the creator players and none were as fast as the Hildelith girl in finding new features or hidden mechanics.

She, and some of her friends, were about to challenge their final boss in the Tower. Mostly, the delay from having to make sure their universes were good enough for the Alpha testers and keeping an eye on them too.

Yet even with all these struggles, and the Hispanic was certain that the Hildelith girl had them too, she couldn't understand how this was possible.

[A CREATOR PLAYER HAS ADVANCED TO TIER 1]
[SYSTEM DUNGEONS WILL NOW BE INTRODUCED IN ALL UNIVERSES YET TO UNLOCK THEM]

"Mother?" The Hispanic locked eyes with her elven daughter before sighing.

"Alura. Time is against us. We need to grow stronger. Fetch your brothers. Some things will have to change". Alura froze for a moment before bowing a bit and rushing off to find her brothers, the grass and fauna already helping in the search.

The Hispanic watched her daughter go before sighing.

"Can't create guilds, can't meet the other creator players, at least not yet. It seems the only things I can do to try to get ahead is forge my next world ahead of time or grind the White world continuously.”

"When in doubt, money turns the world. I bet that should be the same here," decided, she smiled.

"Just a bit, Hildelith. Katrina will be right where you are." her two eyes glowed with purple and red, her gaze piercing the nothingness above her.

[UNIVERSE - HELLOS]

A sigh escaped the lips of a male in his late twenties. His long white hair made him stand out even more than the golden Hall he sat in.

His two eyes were whiter than his hair, with black irises that made it weird to stare at him. His eyes were unfocused making it obvious what he was looking at.

[A CREATOR PLAYER HAS ADVANCED TO TIER 1]
[SYSTEM DUNGEONS WILL NOW BE INTRODUCED IN ALL UNIVERSES YET TO UNLOCK THEM]

Cain didn't feel disappointed or angry. Only the best could be ahead in this game. In any game. He would be the best. No, he was the best.

"Slow and steady wins the race." his gaze turned to the five administrators that knelt before him. A ten-winged angel Goddess, A ten-winged demon God, a Phoenix goddess, a Dragon god, and a Sylvian, his personal best. His race. A true slime. His entire plan banked on it.

With a smile, he leaned back wondering.

'Until I have to rid myself of the other gods, I will simply wait'. waving at his administrators he rose and they followed. The only place to gain power, waiting for him and his majestic army. Unlike the others, he had found a secret. Whoever he wished to, would be able to come with him to the Tartarean rifts.

With all the little ones working for him, he would conquer and find the cities of the other players. Then take them for himself. The alpha players, when finally ready, would be his ace generals in the war to come.

Cain could already see it. The grand prize for the best player in this game. The other universes bowing to him or burned down before his army. He would show these folks how this game was meant to be played.

Stepping out into a grand corridor, he gazed down from the tower to the crowd of angel guards. An ever-growing army into which he pumped his resources. He would level normally and put everything expendable into this.

None would stand in his way to the top now. Raising his right arm, the roar of the heavenly host shook the nothingness.

‘MY heavenly host.’

His eyes burned with greed, eagerness and pride as he gazed into the distance.

[UNIVERSE - THE WHEELS]

[A CREATOR PLAYER HAS ADVANCED TO TIER 1]
[SYSTEM DUNGEONS WILL NOW BE INTRODUCED IN ALL UNIVERSES YET TO UNLOCK THEM]

"Way to take the spotlight, Helen. Wait or is it that other Number 2 player? What was his name again? " Shrugging the creator demon god just shook his large head.

"Nah, couldn't be anyone but her."

He waved his large arm before standing from the bone throne and stomping through his dark halls. The Demonic Creator God was a large figure. With his pale grey skin, stone bat wings that were flexible, and his height of nine feet, he cut a savage presence. The four fangs that gleamed when he grinned made his visage even more terrifying to bear.

A well-forged mace was gripped in his right hand. Scarlet eyes burned his gaze into the nothingness as he grunted.

"You went and did it little sister." he sniffed. A stunning scene for any watching to see. His large legs made dull sounds as he walked. Stopping by the window, he glanced below.

The machinery that was his realm still astounded him. His greatest engineering feat. A literal feat at that.

He smirked at the several creatures and machines, golems, and beings that frolicked in his universe. In and out. He was certain he was the only God to let all in his universe roam through his space except for the mortals.

Alas, all hands had to be on deck.

Leaping out the window his wings stretched, catching no air or oxygen. Yet a flap had him flying to the top of the highest wheel. The symbol and name of his universe.

"Jolly up" his roar seemed to buff the horde of workers. As they went at their duties with more fervor.

'You've gone and brought more attention to yourself, eh, Little girl.' he shook his head.

"They'll come for her glory when it's time." a nasty grin spread on Octavan's face. His eyes went to his mace, which he smacked into his large palm with a thwack that created a shockwave. He smiled as he thought of how immersed she had become in this game. Following her streams had shown him how good she was at it. With her new rank, many jealous and greedy eyes would surely keep tabs. With such an immersive game world, anything could happen. Especially with people playing gods.

"Well then, let them come." he grinned. "I'll do what demon gods do. Kill gods. And if they come with their armies..." he paused as he looked down on the bustle below.

"...my hordes shall be there to greet their greed." he chuckled darkly.

"Huh, am I a siscon," he thought, shaking his head before he looked to another wheel that led to his mortal engines. "I guess it's a good thing then. These players won't know what hit them." Swinging his morningstar unto his shoulder he rose with a flap and descended into his god wheel.

"Let's see if I can get some practice from this system dungeon on how I can properly bash their heads in when they misbehave." he disappeared into the spark of blue light, his last words drifting into any ear that would hear.

"Won't do for Helen to have her Big brother extraordinaire and Guardian demon rusty at his combat skills. Hehehehe".

[WORLD FORGE]

Hildelith exhaled as it was finally over. She had successfully stabilized and things had changed. Both physically and otherwise. First was the fact that her new form was now active. From the tips of her hair to the nails of her toes , she was made of White flames. A Star Titan.

'So we can grow as large as we want or stay dainty. Nice.' Akasha's tone showed approval.

'Can we still... ah yes'. Her form rippled, the Star Titan Form changing into her Elder Divine form.

'Oh. Your Star Titan Form disregards your clothes and armor'. She nodded in agreement. While she was dressed in her attire once again, she changed back to her Star Titan Form noticing that her form was composed entirely of the white flames.

"Like my Aether Titan Form".

'Yes'.
The other thing that had changed was the game system.
Cultivation Points replaced Experience Points. It was confusing. Her skills, general and racial had changed. Merged actually. It was interesting and exciting.

It was like a fresh start with tier one.

Having over 412 in cultivation points, Hildelith wondered how much it would take to level up now.

The result was shocking.

I can just see her being able to Cultivate in her "Mortal" body because of that now for some reason... Does she actually have Instinctive knowledge of how to further her Cultivation or is it only by those points?
