I tend to kill mine too, but my mom told me that most people give their plants way too much water and then it sits on the bottom of the pot and causes the plant to rot. So if unsure how to water the plant, do it only once a week with one glass of water. Even for bigger plants! Has helped me a lot in keeping my plants alive ๐

I was surprised by how lacking the subs were for this episode. The translators straight up glossed over sentences, left out context, and had awkward phrasing. I'm glad you guys were able to understand the gist of it and enjoy the episode regardless.

2021-05-06 01:08:36 +0000 UTC- japchae - Namjoon pointed at Jin, then mimed as if he was stirfrying noodles - during one of the earlier RunBTS episodes (cooking with kimchi they made), he and Jin made japchae together, a festival noodle dish that is stirfried - sweet potato - Tae did the dance from GoGo, then acted as though he was yelling "ma!" - gogo+ma - gogoma - Korean word for sweet potato - he also held up 9 fingers, 9 in Korean is "gu", which is similar to "go" - sundae - pronounced "soon deh" - Korean blood sausage, using intestines as the casing for the sausage (like most other countries' sausages) - tteokbokki - Korean rice cakes in a sweet and spicy sauce - extremely famous street food - kimchi stew - cabbage kimchi is made with napa cabbage, which is a very long cabbage, with long leaves - typically, it's cut into smaller pieces to make it more easily eaten with chopsticks, but sometimes, served on a dish, or in a soup, Koreans will keep the leaves long, having to get in with hands and chopsticks, to rip the leaves lengthwise and wrap a mouthful of rice with the long leaves - it creates a different eating experience, and Korean cuisine is about the activity as well as the flavors of the food that completes an eating experience - sea mustard soup - or just simply, seaweed soup - made of seaweed and stew beef, and tastes like a very rich and deep beef broth - highly nutritious, pregnant women who've just given birth eat it to replenish their bodies and recover faster - because of this, it has also become a traditional soup to eat on your birthday, which is why Hobi was bouncing and clapping as if he was singing the birthday song

The food was goguma and he did the GO go dance, motioned nine with his fingers cuz GU is 9 in Korean and then "MA" which means "dude" - mostly used when angered. The one where Yoongi mimicked earphones and they guessed Melon, is because the main streaming platform for music in Korea is Melon (Melon Music Awards - MMA ๐). And ddeokbokki or tteokbokki is a very spicy and beloved streetfood. It's chewy sticky rice cakes (in stick form) with red chili paste sauce. When you buy it at a vendor you get a tooth pick to eat it with. You guys should try it once. I love to make it myself a lot cuz it's really easy and super yummy! But you gotta be into the chewy bit. It's like gnocchi, but more chewy.
