Things have settled a bit, so it’s time to get into the swing of things. As we draw 2023 to a close, I wanted to share a few things to come in 2024! On a daily basis, seeing the gorgeous character design work on Kiff inspired me to (once again) go back to the drawing board and finesse my character designs. When I first started the Bluehilda comic, my character turnarounds felt flimsy, and I never made proper references of how characters heads would look on an up or down angle.

In the upcoming Chapter 34, Curlika finally steps in to help Bluehilda and Francis take on Hogzel and Gritle! I am currently roughing pages, and I am excited for everyone to see Bluehilda partner up with a new friend that is closer to her age.

As I mentioned awhile ago, I was not too thrilled with how I started my first chapter and wanted to create a beginning with more of a bite. The first few pages of this special edition features Angela Phabela’s last moments before Bluehilda came to be. While I haven’t ironed out the process yet, this special edition will only be available in print! More details to come and see you in the new year!
