Changes to the Commission/Doodle Reward

What changes?

• I will retire/remove the Commission/Doodle reward

• You're still eligible for the request if you're Commission Tier and accumulated 5 or more months or Commission+ Tier and accumulated 3 or more months, because I don't wanna scam you.

Why are you making these changes?

I realized that this reward is ambiguous and not realistically feasible. For the following reasons:

1. This reward scams me over . Let's say you do subscribe to me until you have enough months. That means you paid 120€ ((10€ x 12) == (20€ x 6)) for basically a commission that I put tons of hours in WITH all the extra exclusive Patreon rewards on top of that. A normal commission would usually cost a minimum of 500€.

2. There are too many doodle/commission requests than I imagined. I thought there would be barely any people redeeming this reward since when I started this Patreon/Fanbox I was averaging around ~20 people and most of them were at the lowest tier, but the amount of people exponentially rose in the last year. Now I am barely able to keep up with the queue time being already around 2026.

3. I don't have the time. I've become more successful as an artist over the last years and started getting invited to participate in more and more projects from cool agencies. Furthermore, real life has been starting to get busier for me and I'm forced to hold more responsibilities. Lastly, there are many projects I want to create but don't have the time for due to all of the above.

Q: What are the criteria to get a doodle/commission reward?

To qualify/redeem a doodle/commission reward you need to be subscribed for 12 months as Commission/Animation Tier or Past Rewards/Commission+ Tier for 6 months.

Q: Have I qualified for the commission?

If you have been continuously subscribed for 12+ months as Commission/Animation Tier or 6+ months on Past Rewards/Commission+ Tier.

Q: If I don't have 12 month on Commission/Animation Tier or  6+ months on Past Rewards/Commission+ Tier, does it mean I can't get the reward anymore?

You can still get the reward if you're currently on a 5-month+ streak on Commission/Animation tier or a 3-month+ streak on Past Rewards/Commission+ Tier. If you are not on that number of month streak I just mentioned, then you can't get the reward anymore.

なぜこの変更をするの？

このリワードが曖昧で現実的に実行不可能であると気付きました。以下の理由からです。

- このリワードは私にとって不利益です。例えば、必要な月数に到達するまでサブスクライブしてくれたとしましょう。その場合、実質的に120€（(10€ x 12ヶ月) == (20€ x 6ヶ月)）を支払っていることになり、それに加えてPatreon限定の特典もすべて受け取ることができますが、私が多くの時間をかけて作成するCommissonを実質無料で提供しているようなものです。通常のCommissonは最低でも500€かかるものです。

- 想像以上に多くの落書き/Commissonリクエストが寄せられています。PatreonやFanboxを始めた当初は、登録者数が約20人でほとんどの方が最低プランだったため、ほとんど誰もこのリワードを利用しないだろうと思っていました。しかし、昨年でその数は急増し、今ではキュー待ちの時間がすでに2026年まで延びています。

- 時間がありません。アーティストとしての成功が増し、クールなエージェンシーからのプロジェクトに次々と招待されるようになりました。さらに、私生活も忙しくなり、責任が増えてきています。最後に、作りたいプロジェクトがたくさんありますが、上記の理由で時間が足りていません。
