Goal reached!! Comic coming soon!

So since I reached my goal I'm going to start putting up little strip comics about the nervous magical cat! I'm so excited.  I already have four planned out that I want to do. I think it will be a great break from my work and a challenge since I rarely ever write myself!

These will be available to all patrons, so there's not a cut off point. I might give voting rights to higher tiers for possible situations or scenarios for comics, but we'll cross that road when we get there.

I can't wait to dive into this nervous goober's world.

Thanks everybody so much!

This is a toughie cause everyone's creative path is different! I obviously started as a wee one and never stopped, but how to draw books are very helpful in the beginning! I know it may seem like they don't, but the break down of steps is very helpful. I would start with simple shapes, cartoons, or animals. Another thing I loved doing as a youngin' learning to draw was tracing my favorite drawings! I used to get books of tracing paper and trace Sailor Scouts forever and ever. It was an easy way to learn lines and then I had my own personal coloring book after I was done! It's a simple exercise and very fun! As far as not lopsided round shapes there's no real trick just practice practice practice. Even distribution of shapes is something I've had trouble with for a while and honestly only got better at it over the last few years, haha! My advice is to etch the line slowly if you have to. Draw from the elbow not the wrist and just practice! You got this! :D

Do you have any suggestions on where to start with learning to draw? I would like to do it as a hobby/stress relief, but I get overwhelmed trying to figure out where to start. The nervous magical cat is so adorable! How do you do such lovely, not lopsided round shapes? I volunteer for Big Brother Big Sister and my little loves to draw, and she often asks me to draw faces/other roundish features. I would love to be able to teach her as well!

ohhh good idea!

I can't wait! That top "Naw" kitty looks like it could make the best enamel pin ever. :)
