It has been asked since the first release of the sim and after a lot of planning I am finally adding support for Bots in XIVSIM!
The bots are quite "smart" and are aware of all the nuances and randomness of mechanics.
The bots can also recognize their "party position" such as M1 or MT or H2 etc to enable mechanics where the party lines up.
It is a very tedious process to create bots for each timeline (it is a lot more efforts than the timelines themeslves).
There are quite a few other logistical concerns; For example when this is released, the number of solo players using servers with 7 bots will drastically increase and create longer queues on the sim. I am planning solutions around these problems and will post a follow up soon with more details.

wow, that's absolutely incredible! maybe once this releases i'll stop being hardstuck at 1256 and can finally clear my last ulti :D i feel like making bots patron-only would be one way to reduce the load. if i wasn't already a patron i would be more than happy to pay five dollars a month for access to bots.
