PES2006 Patch 2.0 was made on PES 2021 CPY Version (V1.01.00/DLC1.00) and have been tested without issues on every game mode. Until 1.5 the patch has been compatible with both the Steam and CPY versions, this will no longer be the case from now on as modifications have been made directly on game's exe. INSTALL (CPY):
First of all, make sure you've installed PES 2021 CPY version succesfully and that you are able to run vanilla PES21 without problems. Remember to launch the game at least once before installing 2.0 so the game generates your KONAMI folder in My Documents.
- Extract "EXE & DLL's.rar". Place both exe and dll's inside PES 21 main installation root. (Program Files (x86)\eFootball PES 2021)
- Replace "dt80_100E_x64.cpk" & "DPFileList.bin" from PES 21 "download" folder. (Program Files (x86)\eFootball PES 2021\download
- Place "EDIT00000" inside PES 21 "save" folder. (My Documents\KONAMI\eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE\xxx\save).
- Place "sider-7.1.4" folder inside PES 21 main installation root. (Program Files (x86)\eFootball PES 2021)
- Run "sider.exe" from "sider-7.1.4" folder (you can create a shortcut if you prefer)
- Wait until Steam window appears, close it and run the game using PES2021.exe.

HOW TO VERIFY MY GAME IS LOADING EDIT FILE (EDIT00000) PROPERLY
Edit File contains important data (mostly callnames and squad numbers). To make sure your game is loading Edit File properly follow these steps:
1. Enter the game and go to Edit Mode>Teams and choose FC Barcelona.
2. Go to "Squad Number" and check if Ronaldinho is using number 10.
If he is, you're good to go. If he's not, here's a couple of workarounds that may help:
1. Make sure you're running the game through Sider.exe (you can try running it as admin).
2. Sometimes the game creates two "save" folders in (My Documents\KONAMI\eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE\). If this is the case, replace both folder's Edit File and launch the game. You can check which "save" folder your game is using by saving your progress on any game mode and then just looking on which folder game is saving your file.

HEADLESS PLAYERS BUG FIX (02/11/2024)
Seems like Two-players at Kickoff Mod had some setbacks on main Database, making a bunch of players headless (Pennant, Wallschlager, etc.)
To fix the headless players bug, remove PES21_Hook folder (Program Files (x86)\eFootball PES 2021\sider-7.1.4), dinput8.dll & pes21_hook.dll (Program Files (x86)\eFootball PES 2021)
