The Solstice Vale – Setting

The veil between the mortal realm and the realm of the fey is particularly thin in this strange valley nestled in the Whispering Peaks. Twice a year, on the longest day of the year and the longest night, that veil disappears altogether and the kingdom of Tirianor is temporarily plunged into the fey realm. The people of the Solstice Vale celebrate this planar phenomenon with raucous festivals: The summer and winter revels. But beware, because mortals are never truly safe in the lands of the fey...

The Solstice Vale is where Princess Kiliren and Bryndis, the captain of her guard, live. You don't need the Kiliren and Bryndis PDFs to use this setting PDF, but it does help add some depth to those characters!
I also think Courtly Characters would be a great complement to this PDF, particularly if you plan to have your players spend more than a session or two bopping around the royal court.
