Now THIS is what I'm talking about. 🌞 After being confused about the episode being taken down I finally realized today I accidentally tried to watch the youtube version lol. Watching this episode a feeling of relief washed over me that the good days of Rick & Morty might not be entirely behind us just yet. I have to say I personally hate trigger warnings before episodes, and initially I thought "REALLY? A trigger warning for that" because for some reason I thought maybe it was just the cold open but with how the episode unfolded...I'll say...aaaalright fair enough I guess on this one 🤣 As someone who tried to kill themself on more than one occasion (yeah I guess I'm not super good at it 😝), I thought this episode was hilarious and emotional, but I'm always a sucker for a lifespan timelapse because you get to see so much about the person or thing to really get a glimpse of their existence...even the timelapse of earth's lifetime over a billion years got me good on the Futurama's "The Late Phillip J. Fry" episode. There's just something about watching something from birth to death that's just inherently moving to me. Also in my experience super depressed and suicidal people have the best and twisted kind of humor because we develop it as a coping mechanism...well...those who are still here anyways, some people are better at turning themselves into spaghetti than others. 🤣 I'm sorry I just had to say it lol, if THIS isn't the episode to make a joke like that then I don't know haha. Not sure if I have talked about this on here before, so in case I haven't, don't worry I'm over my suicidal "phase". Even though it seems a bit reductive to call something a phase that lasted 25 years and caused every day to be a nightmare except for small moments of reprieve here and there. Which you actually were a part of Alycia, not gonna lie there were weeks where watching your reactions was all that got me through the week. But enough with the weird sappy gratitude haha. Anyway, thankfully now that my brain is finally running on the right juice this has all gone away and I feel happy for the first time ever at least since like childhood. The day after my first injection I actually said out loud "Ohhh so this is why people don't want to kill themselves all the time", because for the first time in forever I felt just an underlying sense of calm and happiness that I didn't even know existed. ^^ So yeah done with that and totally fine with joking about it...but I had also been fine with it while I was still in it. And to your, albeit, rhetorical question what it says about you that you loved the episode...I think all it says is that you aren't caught up in this fake outrage culture and are capable of differentiating between comedy and real life, and you like what you like without manufacturing your reaction to it to fit the current "right" reaction to have. 🙂 Hilariously my roommate made spaghetti sauce this morning time to go ask him if I can have a plate just for the lulz. 🍝 🤣

This episode is only second to the brilliant Jerricky episode so far, really good stuff!! It WAS great to have Morty back as a main character this episode, I’ve missed him and Rick’s back’n’forth so much!! This is where the writers really shine, they think of something completely insane and just run with it, in this case taking it to lengths you couldn’t even conceive of yourself😂 NO BUT GENUINELY, I may never eat spaghetti again, that shit fucked me up differentttt😭🍝❌ There’s definitely a feeling of ickyness this episode left me with too I have to say, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Usually the messed up parts come in little bite sized moments, then STRAIGHT BACK to hilarious ridiculousness! But this episode was A WHOLE LOT😭 I think Roy is a good example of what I mean. They so casually threw such a soul crushing moment into an episode that was, for the most part, R&M rescuing a sentient fart (in Rick’s eloquent words😂) and I think that particular moment is so memorable and worked so well because they didn’t even give us a minute to process what morty had just gone through playing that game! All of a sudden you’re laughing your ass off again! Not that I wasn’t laughing my ass off at this episode, because I was!😂 and maybe it’s not right to compare the two, but this one just got sooo dark and then continued to get darker and darker somehow lol! -which should not surprise me at this point, I know!🤣 Having said that, this is kinda what this show is all about, going to all those horrible places but with a beautifully ridiculous R&M twist👌 Definitely one of the stronger episodes this season, no doubt in my mind! That classic formula of Morty trying to do the right thing, only for it to completely blow up in his face, til he has no choice but to ask Rick for help, it just works for me and hasn’t gotten stale yet, I love it! Those tend to be my favourite episodes!!✨ Okay the thing that held this episode together for me was the spaghetti nights around the dinner table! The first part when Summer straight up launched her phone at the wall, and they were all so elated, I was immediately cracking up😂 I found Beth and Jerry so funny too, like they DID NOT CARE about it being human remains just that Morty fucked up family night🤣 Beth snapping at Morty “BECAUSE OF YOU!” was my favourite moment I think, that made me laugh soo hard!! I loved that cover of Live Forever too, that was so lovely! Growing up in Manchester I got a lot of Oasis from family and friends, and I really do like the band, it’s just more all the memories that come with those songs for me! Especially ones like this one! Wonderwall too is like an unspoken national anthem that gets played as one of the closing tracks in almost any club around town, guaranteed!🤣 Okay, favourite type of pasta, go! I’m a sucker for Fusilli, that shit goes so hard in a pasta bake, unbeatable in my eyes!😤🔥 - My sad attempt at getting myself okay with pasta again, I can’t lose such a staple in my life😭🤣 Bolognaise is OFF the table though, Pesto or Alfredo for the win I guess💀
