Hey everyone, author here.

Volume 1 is officially finished — Cassian escaped. Against all odds, he survived a High World’s descent into madness and pulled through. I still can’t quite believe I’ve written 70,000 words across 34 chapters. It’s been a hell of a journey, and looking back, I can see the rough edges. There were mistakes, a few lore inconsistencies, some repetition, and parts where the pacing could’ve been tighter. Certain sections felt a bit mechanical at times. But honestly? That’s part of the process. Every author looks back and thinks, I could’ve done this better. And that’s a good thing. It means there’s room to grow. You know?

For now, I’ll be taking a short break — five days to recharge and properly outline the next arc and Volume 2. I want the story to hit harder, flow smoother, and keep pushing the stakes higher. Expect new chapters starting next Tuesday.
