For The Great British Bump Off (issue 1 in comic shops now) I scripted every issue as I would write a comic for myself - by drawing a rough version that Max Sarin could work from. I'll be posting these as PDFs a week after the issues come out. If you have the issue, you may enjoy comparing and contrasting my scribbles with the beautiful final issue.
Having broken down the story beats, I wrote all four issues in four weeks, back-to-back. The versions of the characters in the breakdown are my very simple character designs, which Max used to create the elaborate final versions. I wrote the characters' names on their aprons so they were easy to identify for an artist, but realised that this would also aid the reader in a story with a necessarily big cast, so we used it in the final book.
After drawing these roughs, I typed up in a full script explaining what I had drawn. I also made a 3D model of the Bake Off tent, but we can save that for another day.
