Some bad news about Onion Dan
Added 2021-06-21 16:26:16 +0000 UTCVery sad news, Patreon friends. Onion Dan has been cancelled by Image Comics as of issue 5. There will be no more Onion Dan. Apparently "it was too extreme" and "it made people feel sick." According to my (former) friends at the publisher, they want to "get out of the John Allison game" and "concentrate on characters who are not onions." The bloody cheek of it!
I may run a Kickstarter to publish a final issue, which would tie up the final fates of Dan, Mogg, Crowsmary, Juniper Jackson and The Shrewsbury Elite. Sorry to all the Dan Fans and members of the Dan Army.

But I have good news to counteract the bad. I have launched a new comic at IDW Publishing, called DAN-DAN MUSIC MAN. Believe me, it takes a lot more than cancellation and a lawsuit to stop this character in his tracks. I'm steering away from onion-based action towards, well, have a look at the cover of issue 1. I think everything will be pretty clear.
Looks pretty good, right? Dan will be joined by an all-new support cast, but maybe we'll see some old familiar faces (wink, wink!)
