Pinup: Sally Southpaw in the Shower

“Southpaw” Sally is a character whose story very much deserves to be told, but I never quite found enough room for her in any of Zebra Girl’s chapters. She was introduced as a friend of Mike who later vanished after stumbling upon a werewolf’s severed paw in the woods, at the site of Sandra’s battle with Wally’s old pack. She reappeared years later as a member of the vampire crowd in Miscellaneous, apparently possessed by the vengeful lycanthrope’s ghost, the paw having somehow grafted itself to her now undead body. Wally tore it off and saved her, but her terrible experiences and subsequent recovery were mysteries left to our imagination.
Though I’m sure we’ll meet her again in the future, and maybe then more will be explained. For now all I’ll say is that she’s doing pretty well in the time of Khazandra’s kingdom. She runs The Knothole, the bar in the Wooden Castle. And while she’s free of the corrupting influence of the possessed werewolf’s paw which pushed her into vampirism, she still has a recurring... “phantom limb” sensation.
She says it comes in handy.
