Rebranding

Hi, everyone.  You might have noticed I've been spiffing up the place.  Well, it's high time.  I can't really use Zebra Girl as the sole focus of this Patreon page since the comic's ended, can I?  Even if I continue working with the same canon, I still need to rebrand a little.  Especially since the Persephone Society project turned out to be so popular!  Well, popular by my standards, anyway.

Feels a bit egotistical, though, making a banner just for me.  "The Art of Joe England"!  Sheesh.  Grandiose.

I've diversified the Patreon tier system so people can have more visible options to support my work at varying levels.  Is nine tiers too many?  Maybe.  But I like the little pictures I made for them!  Can't believe I never did that before.  I'm lazy as sin.

Also, money's getting tight again, and I've got to set some goals.  One of the reasons I still haven't finished the Omnibus (aside from it being much, much more work than I quite stupidly anticipated) is that the pandemic made everything a little more complicated, including the twin hassles of time and money, factors so closely linked that one is often mistaken for the other.  Also, my parents have needed a lot of help lately.  My Dad's selling his house, my Mom's got psoriasis, and neither of them are getting any younger.  Guilt!  Guilt!  Pity!  Is it working?  Ooh, I hope so.  Point is, I'm setting an earnings goal for reaching $500 a month to facilitate the Omnibus.

Still, is that unfair?  I mean, I already said I would make the thing, and it seems dishonest to set a goal post as an incentive.  But it is definitely going to cost money to print it even after it's finished, and that's asking a lot as things currently stand.

At any rate, I need to make a real push to up my productivity and attract new patrons if I'm gonna stay afloat with this.  If you have any suggestions I'll be eager to hear them.  Above all, I need to respect your needs.  It's only with your generosity that Zebra Girl made it, and that's something I never want to take for granted.  So please, let me know how you feel, and if you think I'm being unreasonable.

Well, that's the idea! Gotta attract new business, after all. Let me know if you have something in mind!
