I did NOT expect a no name series like Yaiba of all the series to get this level of animation for it's remake, but im locked in, the original series was a pretty solid series when i watched it over a decade ago xD

2025-04-08 13:17:22 +0000 UTCAs a Detective Conan fan, I'm familiar with Yaiba since this is Aoyoma Sensei's previous work. It had a cult following in the 80s/90s and ran for 255 chapters. I'm familiar with it because It was featured in Conan several times, the characters appeared once or twice as a special treat for the fans, and the world always seemed intriguing. It's also Conan's favorite manga since he reads it all the time in the Conan anime lol. So for me.. to see it get an anime.. by WIT no less.. I'm beyond happy and excited to finally check it out. Also, Conan's VA is Yaiba's VA.. she's also the EX Wife of the author. There's been a lot of heavy promotion in Japan from the Conan team to hype Yaiba, and the first episode has been VERY well received! I hope you enjoy it too man!!
